Secondly the Hydroxi-chloroquin in parallel with Zinc supplements acts as a prophylaxis, a prevention of the illness. Most of the doctors on the front lines in NYC are using it, prescribing it for themselves.
This drug SHOULD be in general use just as the President wanted, but he was curtailed by CDC and FDA plutocrats.Many will die needlessly because of it. But no one is willing to look that issue square in the eye.SHAME!

Search for Hydroxi-chloroquine at any on line pharmacy. There all sold out.
This is a horrble thing to have happened. Many deaths were unnecessary.
FYI:
My wife has a colleague in NYC who had CV symptoms, shortness of breath, high-fever, bad cough. He’s mid-thirties, in good health otherwise, with no severe underlying conditions. His doctor told him to self-quarantine and to let him know if his symptoms became worse. If so, he would then have him tested. It never came to that. He also prescribed hydroxychloroquine and a Z-Pack. The young man told my wife today that after two days of taking the medication he was feeling much better and that after five days his symptoms are almost gone! Real story. Real first-hand account. Real results! Good news!
I feel it is appalling that the plutiocrats at FDA and the CDC reined the president in , making him do testing . Only 10,000 units, thats enough to treat 1000 people.
They should be releasing the drug to every doctor in NYC. They already know how to use it.

You were clear, and I understood; in a way I was playing devil’s advocate in part. There are efforts afoot to do the things you and I discussed though in my understanding Trump needs to put his boot on the backside of more than a few.
The silver lining is Israel’s Teva pharmaceutical said it would provide 6 million doses free to the US by this Tuesday. Bayer is doing similar and so is Apotex in Toronto. It’s all coming down the pipe to meet the need for lupus patients and to be used by the brave Dr Z’s out there.
Agreed. The doctors we know are prescribing the drugs. Our doctor told us that if we have symptoms, which we currently don’t, that he would have us tested. He also told us that he would prescribe HCQ+Zpack, if we get it. He said that seems to be working.... He is a very experienced doctor who specializes in infectious diseases. He’s also a friend of ours, so he feels free to speak candidly to us.
Sorry I didn’t read your post above which mentions the major pharmaceuticals producing millions of HCQ pills.
The doctors are using HCQ/Zpack still, maybe off-label or ‘right-to-try’. If you search for posts under my user name, I’ve been posting anecdotes from twitter and articles of patients cured and doctors saying they are having amazing results with the combo.
Todays numbers show over 52K cases in New York. I wonder if they have all been tested, I wonder if they all show symptoms?

New York State has a comprehensive testing system, what they see is that 20% of those tested have the virus. You can imagine how many people they are testing per day, in the tens of thousands.
But what New York does NOT have is a way to treat thoise infected. Their onoly option is Dr. Zelenkos cure, because New Yorl will never have enough hospital beds. With Zelenkos plan, no one needs to go to the hospital.

No posts from you today thought I would ask, what is your latest thinking on the HCQ, Zpac,and zinc regimen? I know a couple of things about this and may be able to answer a couple of your questions. Would not waste your time, FRiend.
Your instinct, you said your gut feeling, is not incorrect. You were wiser than I as I was entirely too hopeful about this. I should not have expected a drug regimen to upend the science of virology and epidemiology. If you would enjoy further discussion and some science on this let me know. If you have anything that you found that answers any of your questions and you link me, I will thank you. If not, and I do not hear from you I will not notice. There is so much noise on FR now.
