If he continued accessing school work and class lectures online then hes lost hope of his argument standing up.

Hey, this is the education system’s chance to show they don’t rip off students!

I would suggest he find an alternative because he will not be welcome on campus.

Congress will have to pass a law immunizing companies and organizations from lawsuits with regard to the virus or our economy will die from the fear of lawsuits. We did this in Y2K, we need to do it now. If not, no company will open back up in fear that they will be liable.
In this specific case, the colleges should offer expanded online classes or rebates for extra classes. They had to pay for the staff, they did not make money on the early closing. I think they can give back room and board fees. But not education if they did not benefit form the closure. Its a force major (act of God). Which means it could not be helped and everyone takes the risk.

Re: A significant portion of the fees relate to face-to-face activities ranging from student unions, computer labs, study rooms, extracurricular activities and more. Now, due to campus shutdowns, those activities are not being held.
So sad. These students unable to meet with their friends and participate in school extracurricular activities during this national crisis. They cant even use the school study rooms. They have to study in their own homes. Heartbreaking!

As a LONG time, and generous Temple (FOOTBALL ONLY) donor, and the father of a Temple Junior (part time at Prager U.) I definitely think we're due a refund. The online classes have been a complete joke. What am I paying for? Classes that aren't taught? Equipment she can't use? Instruction not given?
