‘And probably the total will be around 80,000 in another 40 days, give or take.’

and just as probably, it won’t...you don’t know any more than I do about it...

He’s going about a funny way of doing it if he really supports Trump.

Rush is going to get a lot of people killed, and for what, I don't have the foggiest

Just stay home and let the rest of us "risk our lives" for the sake of Liberty and Freedom - two things I thought you believed were worth dying for.

IHME’s projection is 60,000 dead but I don’t know how they came up with that number.

I think they’re going to come up far short, unless they know of a cure the general public doesn’t know about.

Then there’s this from the leading biocontainment hospital in the USA

They’re not supposed to be a cure all.

Let’s not let perfection get in the way of good enough.

That dietdoctor link I posted has a *great* graphical comparison of infection rates/numbers between countries who eschew masks and those who learned from the FIRST SARS to wear them.

Japan, SK, etc all began wearing masks w/o being told. There is no social stigma with wearing masks there. No one thinks you’re ‘being a sheep’ if you wear one. They simply think you’re being polite and considerate.

And for everyone that dies, there will be at least 9 who will need intensive medical care for weeks, and once the capacity of the US HCS collapse, the ratio will go far higher. Is that how we stimulate the economy? And there is a lot about this coronavirus which is unknown. There are numerous reports of people becoming reinfected, after thinking they were cured. It has been reported there is an HIV component in its genetic structure.

Of course it’s bait and switch. The Covid Clowns will cling to their catastrophic predictions to the bitter end.

According to www.worldometers.info, a total of 42,514 have died, and 1,939 today alone. Do the math. That's 4.6% for today. Tomorrow there will be another 4.5%, or so, of the new total, who will die. With exponential growth involved, albeit at even 4+% daily, going from 42,514 to 80,000 won't take long at all.

I can't believe the fearbros are still desperately still trying to push the "we're all going to die, the hospitals will all be overwhelmed" crap. It's really pathetic.

I don't fear hospitals being overwhelmed if we stay the coarse. I fear hospitals being overwhelmed if we aren't careful and ignore the danger this virus still represents to the US.

Like I said earlier, we can go back to work with the proper safeguards, which I understand, thankfully, president Trump and his team intend to implement.

It's Rush who I'm worried doesn't understand the significant risk this virus represents to the country as a whole, and by his broadcasts undermining president Trump's efforts to contain it, flubro.

The first "pandemic" I remember was the one in 1976.

The experts got it wrong. In fact the pandemic never showed up.

The next was the GRID (AIDS) pandemic. Remember how it was going to spread like wildfire through the heterosexual community?

The experts once again got it wrong.

I could go on, Ebola, SARS, MERS, H1N1, these were all pandemics that were sure to wipe us out.

They got them all wrong.

I am starting to wonder how much I should rely on these experts.

Have they ever gotten it right? Maybe even understated the danger?

I’ve been tracking these death numbers since St. Patrick’s day. You can’t do a one day calculation and extrapolate anything from it.

The Worldometer death chart has a log feature. If you click on that you will see that the cumulative death line is changing slope. If you plot an asymptote for the 19th it looks like the final number will be 50-60,000 deaths total.

Like I said earlier, I think 50-60,000 is going to be a little low.

Rush just can’t get his head out of the conspiracy theories long enough to realize this virus is real.

And you can't stop lying about what he says.

It illustrates that even you realize he's made a strong case, and you have to lie about what he says to strengthen your own in hopes it will weaken his.

Yeah, I know you'll deny that last sentence, but your own words put the lie to that.
