The ones risking their lives are on the front lines caring for the sick.

Don’t create a Fake War between yourself and our government.

I can’t believe this is happening. Not the epidemic but the reaction of conservatives. We are supposed to work together when a calamity of this proportion hits us.

Also I blame the poor math and science education in our schools.

So it has been over sixty years since they got it right?

You know, I am not sure that is the kind of track record that should inspire a great deal of confidence in their advice.

The number of deaths in the US (all reasons) spiked in January with 88,000 more deaths than January 2019. Then in February and March the numbers fell to lower than the previous year - even with covid ravaging the country.

What was the natural immunization effect? Why didn’t we assess the disease’s impact more “scientifically” before we shut down the economy?

Total deaths in US depends on if NYC and northern NJ drop off as they should. The rest of the country is like Canada meaning not that bad.

I continue to be disappointed that so many people are sheeple who go off the deep end when they heel uncertainty which they interpret through an “I’m going to die” lens. It is true that under stress you learn a lot about people’s character and strength. These people feel that somehow one should go through life without any risk. To be alive is a risk. Yes, you might die today from many things, including being hit by a car. It is no wonder that so many are uncomfortable with assuming the responsibilities brought about by being free. “Where are my peals?” seems to be the new motto for our culture.
