Anyone can create nice charts in Excel.
But HOW were those projected numbers created? What’s the formula used?
Simply put, there were initially too many unresolved questions and questionable numbers fed to projection models concerning effects of SARS-CoV-2 to not have a lockdown, "Orange Man Bad" politicians and media inexcusably contributing to the confusion in an election year.
So while we hope Mr. Limbaugh’s observation about Coronavirus antibody numbers is correct, hopefully greatly reducing projected lockdown times if so, it is a hindsight observation imo.
What we’re getting out of lockdown is that PDJT is seeing pandemic as a "canary in the coal mine warning" (my analogy) imo, master businessman PDJT indicating that he has already started planning to rebuild FDA, CDC, medical support and drug industries like he has rebuild military.
Hope Mr. Limbaugh is getting better.

Supporting PDJT with a new patriot Congress and state government leaders that will promise to fully support his already excellent work for MAGA and stopping COVID-19 will effectively give fast-working Trump a third term in office imo.

You got NY burying people without even determining whether corona was the real cause (just assuming), financial incentives in the background distorting the results, Big Media with an agenda to make everything look bad, etc.
So I use common sense instead ... namely, I don’t see children being wiped out in bulk (PROOF - otherwise it would be Story #1 on CNN), and I don’t see large numbers of people in their healthy years being struck down (same reason) ... yes it’s a bad virus for some people, maybe worse than the flu
But you treat it like it’s the Black Death, just like Big Media is doing ... enough already

Rush is 100% right, as usual. Trump pushed the shutdown, but it was on good faith. The CDC completely screwed up testing, so we all were flying blind. He had no choice but th trust the models. Without US data, no choice.
But now it’s different. Ending the shutdown completely is the right thing to do. The 2nd Great Depression this will cause will be 100% blamed in him if he doesn’t push hard to reopen right now.
It is a huge mistake to keep the economy shut down. Period.

Waiting 2 weeks between flattening and ending lockdowns is just to try to make sure it doesn’t go soaring back up again as soon as you stop the mitigating. It’s related; not really switching the goalposts.
Testing, on the other hand, has no relation to ending the lockdowns. They have no standards of testing, right now, to determine ending lockdowns.
It’s all OK. Our top scientists are not really stupid just because people hate them.

Of course Rush is trying to help Trump. Trump himself may take credit for the travel bans and the All Of Government, All of America approach, but he’s adamant that his actions were informed by the experts and he has acquiesced to the progs and let the governors handle the reopening. He has been judicious in his use of power.
My observations have been necessarily limited, these past 5 weeks, but I have been in 2 separate counties in WI and I’ve seen far more sensible and calm demeanors than spooked ones. That said, the extremely terrified/virtual signalers really stand out. The way they eye the unmasked and confident is telling: as though they have awakened into an alternate reality where everyone else appears insane and all their fears are being ignored.
I have seen far more of the terrified than the virtual signalers, but small numbers of both.
Meanwhile, the media ramp up (I don’t have/watch/miss TV, so I only have print/clips and radio top-of-the-hour to go by) tells me that they are seeing mass skepticism and therefore feel compelled to pile it deeper and higher.
I do trust that evidence of panicked hysteria. The progs have much to lose and perhaps have already lost too much. Trump will triumph again and they seem to know it.

Florida’s system crashed so bad the gov had to add 100(!) servers and 1000(!) people to answer the phones, just for that phone number! Half the people wanting to still have not been able to apply yet.
And Florida is not unique. Probably 15% actual unemployed rate right now, more each day. Will easily hit 20% soon. Easily. Oil crashed. Add energy workers to the mix. Bankruptcies just starting. Homes will be lost...
All because foolish people preached the end of the world, and it isn’t happening. And won’t.

1957 (IIRC): Households with sick members were quarantined. I had friends in quarantine, but no one was hysterical and healthy people just went about their lives.
