This cop was a bad egg, and he was let go amongst the public to continue his behavior. The police knew/know what is in his record and it is going to come back to bite them. They are responsible for allowing him to interact with the public. This guy would not have past the psych to enter the service much less the police force.

Police are not always going to be fair and do things right when they're handling a criminal arrest amid a rowdy crowd. Just as teachers, attorneys, judges and all in the public service have to contend with a public that's never satisfied and often ungrateful and violent themselves...

Again, I reiterate, we do not know the cause of death, and we have been shown no video that shows why the officers were on top of Mr. Floyd? Until we have those two key pieces of evidence, we should withhold judgment. By the way, nobody is supporting the knee on the neck policing style of the one officer.

2) Floyd SPIT on or at the group of officers? (would trigger a harsh reaction from cops in the age of Covid-19)

Anyone who has seen the video and has an ounce of intelligence can see this was a horrific event. That man is dead! He shouldn’t be dead.
I would say there are an awful lot of people on this thread who’s posts of, move along nothing to see here, haven’t aged well. It sickens me and then they boast at how smart they are and they not only don’t know anything they are vile and uncaring. Sad, very, very sad.
If the state executed someone convicted of raping and murdering a toddler, this method of death would be cruel and unusual punishment.
The dead guy passed a counterfeit $20 bill or bad check or whatever.
There was no need to drag him out of his car.
They could've put chocks on the wheels and waited him out.
They could've arrested him at home a few days later. Having his car means you know his home address.
There was no need to escalate to the point of killing him.
It's not like he was going Aloha Snackbar in a gay nightclub with semiautomatic weapons, or ripped the tag off his mattress, or wore a MAGA hat in public, or anything.
And it wasn't in the heat. Nine continuous minutes of a knee on the neck to beyond the point he craps himself (apparently the point of death) is vast overkill.
On film. In public.
