As televisions and computers showed a fourth day of protesters turned rioters Saturday, looting and destroying property, it was readily apparent why Americans own 16+ million AR-15s.
When Robert ‘Beto’ O’Rourke was still vying for the Democrat nomination–and pledging to come take away your AR-15–Breitbart News spoke with the National Shooting Sports Foundation (NSSF) about what a Herculean task that would be. After all, the AR-15 is the most popular rifle platform in America.
NSSF shared their calculations with Breitbart, showing an estimated 16= million privately owned AR-15s in the U.S.

Yeah, used to think the same way until I got my first and second belt fed AR uppers and 5,000 links. Just never know when you might need them, but hope you never do. Now you won’t be finding any of that

I remember the .223 AKs from back then - tough to get magazines for. One of my old high-school buddies was an FFL around that time; his advice was to leave that combo alone until it was better sorted-out. He has always been an AK guy, though - only recently did he finally relent and buy an AR. Now I get to give him advice. :-)
If just one store gets looted in Salt Lake City, then that mayor deserves to be hunted down like a dog and beat to death, then shot.

In my red Arizona, in red Maricopa County, former Sheriff Joe Arpaio’s county, rioters have pillaged to the point where our Republican governor has declared a curfew, statewide, from 8pm to 5am.
Personally, I believe corporate stores probably have policies to protect criminals, and many private store owners don’t take responsibility to protect their property.
Pathetic.
And BTW, any looters look to lay a finger on my store will find themselves made an example of.

A 7-11 was looted first. Then stores (Apple, Microsoft, etc..) in City Creek Center. The business owners most likely donated to the current mayor’s campaign. Not sure if she’s a proud lesbian like her predecessor.

I shake my head at the nonsensical proposition (unfortunately held by some on FR) that ‘property’ crime is some lesser, unimportant level of offense.

It is lesser, but only a slight bit. In a digital 1 and 0 world, it’s still a 1. For libs, it’s a 0.
I recall Rush made comments about this long ago. He basically said all rights are about property - your body is your property, so murder and battery are crimes against property, at base.
They may be able to destroy property and be violent in liberal cities, but the line in the sand is at my front door.
You got that right. We usually just keep handguns handy in the house but if any of this stuff starts up near our house we will be pulling the long guns out of the gun safe.
