Police in Northern California are searching for suspects after rioters reportedly stole more than 70 luxury cars from a dealership near San Francisco Sunday night.

San Leandro Chrysler Dodge Jeep dealership owner Carlos Hidalgo said although he blocked the exits with cars as a precaution, the thieves “started ramming, ramming until they could get out. They took out chains and fence posts. It was a very malicious act,” FOX 2 in Oakland reported.

“You walk in it's like a war zone," Hidalgo said of the aftermath. “It’s not a cause for anybody. This is just bad thieves. It’s horrible. This is domestic terrorism brought upon to people that work. That’s not right.”

Kurt the Cyber Guy was on Fox News this morning talking about the looting of the Apple stores. Apparently all the phones, watches and ipads are rendered useless once they're taken out of the store without being activated inside.

Also, Facebook is tracking all those who have accounts and have the ability to provide information to authorities of every person who illegally entered stores to loot them.........Google too.

With the touch screen electronics installed in today's cars, I wonder if such tracking is available on them too.......

Did the nitwits running these Dealerships leave keys in the car? ( not that many cars need them anymore)

New cars come with fairly significant anti theft systems. Just how in the hell did these scumbags just drive off with these high end cars?

Even my Hyundai can be remotely found and be disabled as long as I keep the Blue Link service active.

Now what kind of “luxury car” these days doesn’t have keyless? Those thugs for sure couldn’t hotwire anything keyless. Are these used cars? Over 10yrs old?

The cars will likely be taken to chop shops if the security can’t be easily defeated.

I’m thinking they broke into the dealership and got the keys. Not that big of a stretch.

The title says “Luxury car’s” but it was a Chrysler Dodge and Jeep dealership.

The Chrysler 300 is considered a luxury car. Popular among a certain demographic.

It’s actually pretty easy - if the keys are not kept in a Faraday cage, you can simply use a signal booster to make the cars think the key is much closer than it actually is.

I suspect this directed mayhem is to distract and redirect attention from Deep State and D’rat unmasking happening now under Trump.

Those cars will be found abandoned, smashed, destroyed and filthy. Imagine if you put monkeys in a car. They would destroy it and leave various bodily fluids and solids in it because they are far too stupid to appreciate the work of art that they are in, that someone worked hard to buy, and that a team worked hard to create.

Do you expect a gorilla to stand before a Picasso and appreciate it? The gorilla would do what gorillas do: smash it and throw various bodily excreta around the room, screeching all the time.

Check out the sticker prices on the top end Jeeps. MSRP on a Cherokee Trackhawk is $87.4K.

Maybe the keys were not securely locked up inside the dealership?

(And maybe workers’ account passwords were on post-it notes over their desks?)

They’re usually going to be in a key cabinet or safe like this: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=JaEE991cr5s

But those things don’t all have adequate shielding, so you can use a signal booster to make off with a keyless car. The other option is that they simply broke into the key dispenser and took all of them; they’re often not that heavily armored, there are more heavily protected cheap ATMs.
