The lawsuit, filed in federal court on Wednesday, complained Ms. Bowsers move, as well as her decision to rename a nearby street Black Lives Matter Plaza, came at the taxpayers expense but showed a preference for one faith or belief over others.
The main argument in the 51-page complaint filed at the U.S. District Court for the District of Columbia is that Ms. Bowser is violating the Establishment Clause of the U.S. Constitution by supporting one orthodoxy over others.
The Black Lives Matter banner conveys that black people are the favored race of the city of DC, which is of course a racist contention floated by a racist Democrat who persistently refuses to think logically, the lawsuit said.

good luck
Regardless of the merits, any bets on how a DC judge/jury will rule on this?
Interesting to see what precedent can be set by what legal pretzel gets twisted to make it stick.
But Judges are in many ways activists these days.
I’m all for this lawsuit, but I think Mayor Bowser should also be charged with vandalizing public property at taxpayer expense.
She should be required to pay for the removal of that offensive vandalism at her own expense.
I think the mayor will lose royally. The District is Federal in Nature and all the lands are totally Federal. Mayors are “rulers”....not “owners”.
Crash a car into one of those buildings and blame the highway dept.
A light rain and a motorcycle could be dangerous on that paint
How ironic that she is the racist.
She shouls also pay for the original painting. She ordered it & she has no such power, IIRC.
Racism against white people is the law of the land—everybody knows that. :-(
No doubt.

Same with all the anti-Trump crooks we want prosecuted.
Seems like a sound argument. Win or lose, it's good that the case was filed.
Imagine the outrage if a street was painted with WHITE LIVES MATTER. Or even the innocuous ALL LIVES MATTER.
Slippery When Wet
1977 dc passed a human rights act imo it is also being violated

It’s in federal court so it could go either way.
Id say this fails by the premise that it is a religion. Its only a viewpoint.
Sympathize fully, but pick another analogy.
I agree with the argument but good luck finding an honest Judge.
All lives matter you hateful racists.
