Too many people, Fauci said, are not answering the phone when contact tracers call.
“It’s not going well. I have to tell you, it’s not going well.”
That’s the blunt assessment that White House health advisor Dr. Anthony Fauci, who also serves as the director of the National Institute of Allergy and Infectious Diseases, gave on Friday in regards to the success (or lack thereof) currently when it comes to coronavirus contact tracing. “If you get a positive, then you backtrack and try to figure out who that positive is,” Fauci said, the day after the coronavirus pandemic set scary new records in the US on Thursday. “We really need to start doing that, because the idea of doing individual identification, isolation, contact tracing, particularly in some communities where people don’t want to cooperate — they don’t want to tell you where they’ve been and who they’ve been with.”

I don’t pick up the phone for people I don’t know... especially pollsters. Another area where the phone doesn’t work the way it used to.
What did he expect?
Yet phone “polling” is flawless.

After watching a bunch of really stupid white people on their knees, nobody in their right mind would want to waste time with crazy.
Speaking for myself, I rarely answer the phone if I don’t know who is calling.
Experience has taught me, that 99+% of the time an unknown number is calling, the call is from someone I don’t want to talk to.
And I expect that if it is important, whoever is calling will leave a message and I will call back at my convenience.
I’m sure I’m not the only one who prefers to let unknown calls go to voice mail. I don’t want to talk to telemarketers, or someone pretending to be from the IRS.

I don’t answer the phone unless the call is from someone I know or some business that I’m dealing with. About 90 percent of the calls I get are junk calls.
“I am from the FBI. We are looking for white nationalist extremist terrorists. Please help our nationwide search.”
