Until the doctor came in and told me to take the silly thing off. He said that my o2 levels were below where they should be and offered me a written excuse to not wear a mask.
I asked him what I should do if I caught the crud and he told me, "Stay home, call me and I will write you a prescription"

How in the hell can you eat with a mask on?..
My level had dropped to 84 and I was really feeling lousy after wearing the mask for about an hour.
After a quick treatment and taking the mask off for about 20 minutes my o2 was back up to my normal of 94.
The *_____live news sites are pimping an Amazon mask with a zipper for eating and drinking.

Could not agree with you more. These people have zero say in the policy whether it's coming down from the state, or the locality, or the owner of the store, or their corporate offices. These are the front line people making next to nothing who are simply informing people of policies they had no say in creating. What kind of person throws a drink in somebody's face or physically assaults them because they disagree with a store policy? What a massive sense of entitlement.
The store owner very much wants your money; I don't think that there are too many proprietors who are thinking up ways to make your visit even more inconvenient.
