Trump / Dept of Education should flatly state that funds are only going to schools that are open, including private ones. Online schools would receive a prorated portion.
That will open schools in a hurry.
The GOP had better not cave to the Dems 3 trillion dollar aid package! This will enable all these lazy slugs to sit home making more on unemployment than working! But we can always count on the feckless Republican Party to put their tails between their legs and retreat.
While schools are closed, putting teachers on months long paid vacation, teachers are available as full time volunteer campaign workers.

Yes, and not only will the corona virus go away, it will actually be time for the other flu to come back.

I think that would be a grave error.
I believe the flow of power should start going back to the states or even lower back to the Sheriffs.
