Although the majority of parents in America are concerned about their children falling behind due to the closure of schools over COVID-19, the split over whether or not to open schools is purely a partisan choice. According to market research and public opinion group Ipsos, 78 percent of Democrats oppose re-opening schools while 79 percent of Republicans support the decision.
Schools have been closed nationwide since the coronavirus outbreak began in the United States in early to mid-March. Since then, scientific research has largely reached a consensus regarding the safety for school-aged children, encompassing all parts of the COVID-19 threat including their risks of development and rates of transmission

I heard Trump on the radio say that if they don’t open up schools then give parents money for private schools or homeschooling. Works for me.

The democrats oppose reopening schools in order to add to the misery index.
The Rats are willing to destroy the economy,to destroy the dreams of middle class and working class Americans,in order to drive Trump out of office.
If it is so dangerous to go back to work or to see sports or to go vote, then I’d better not see Democrats out in public registering strangers to go vote or pulling their “knock and drag” efforts to coerce people to go to the poll on election day.
School educrats and their political unions are shooting themselves in the head

The construction people won’t be out there soliciting voters, their industry never got shut down.
