Every poll, even those favorable to Trump, are showing him losing significant ground among whites - some, including the favorable Rasmussen poll, show Trump turning in the worst performance among whites for a Republican presidential candidate in 25 years. Biden may ride the white vote to victory.

Any questions as to why Biden can't seem to decide? This is a sign of a campaign in trouble, and Biden's got a load of bad candidates, all of them as baggage-laden as himself. If he can't pick a running mate unless it's someone who brings him nothing, he's a goner. And his desperation is showing.
A Whitmer pick would hand victory to Trump in not just Michigan but Minnesota and Wisconsin.
If she's the one, and Trump starts ads showing what she actually did, as opposed to "she kept us safe", she will be toast.
