Products, yes. Effort, probably not.

The best defense against illness and/or how seriously it will affect you is a strong immune system is from eating well and not being obese.

Quercetin and zinc effects are similar to HCQ and zinc for prevention. Vitamin D deficiency is a huge problem though IMO. C19 infection and death rates are much higher for those deficient in D. I wish the vitamin D deficiency problem would get more publicity. I believe we could end this C19 stuff in short order. The PTB have all these people buying a wearing face masks. It seems like people could get their vitamin D levels checked and fix this.

In the view of the advocates, can hydro and zinc ( or quercetin and zinc) work together without the addition of zpack? Is zpack absolutely necessary?

A side-effect of my taking a lot of antioxidants for possible COVID-19 protection is that pain in my elbows that I’ve had for a few years has gone away completely. Not sure if it’s anything in particular that’s done it or if it’s the combined effect of everything I’m taking now.

I am not aware of this personally, but many say that Thompson brand Rutin is the go-to for hemmoroids. (Amazon, cheap). Now also has a rutin.

Dr Louis P Coates says Quercetin, Zinc and D3 are good COVID prophylactics, Z-Pak not required. Check him out on Facebook.

I don’t know if quercetin should be used once symptoms appear. Quercetin is a zinc chelate. It helps get zinc in cells. I have no idea if quercetin is as effective as HCQ. I’m not a doctor. This is just what I’ve read.

Yup...It should be malpractice not to check a patient’s Vit d3 levels, and then get them up to 60-80 if they are deficient...cheap and could solve lots of health problems.

Checking levels is very expensive plus it is hard to make a clear cut diagnosis that makes insurance companies agree that it was medically necessary to check a level. Patients should start taking a good amount of D3 first for a good amount of time and THEN have a level checked. 5000 IU daily for 3 months first, then check. One time might be enough then, you might be on the right dose at that point. It is actually a total waste of money how many vitamin D levels are being checked now, especially if you already know it is going to me low. Spend money on something else.

The Zithromax is an antimicrobial agent to knock out secondary bacterial infection that happens when one's system has already been wakened by the influenza virus. It is equally important toward getting the sick person's system back in a condition to effectively conquer both virus and bacterial attacks on one's respiratory system.

I'm sure adequate vitamin D helps on both fronts, but I do not recall the mechanism against the flu virus at this moment. A little research should dig that back up again.

Just curious.

Does a once/day multivitamin more or less, cover the minimum levels of vitamin D people should have?
