I admit that my neutrality on the subject of racial relations is tilting a bit towards the boom Boom BOOM solution.

I disagree. I have worked with all levels of intelligence in my work life and moral values and goodness have been in my experience independent of intellectual capacity.

Exactly so. I know very successful people who aren't overly bright but have superior character and temperament.

I know of very few people who lack the intelligence to be self supporting.

You fail to understand the fundamentals of the host/parasite relationship. There is no peaceful resolution.

We've come to this point because of the welfare state.

It’s clear to most of us many blacks are able to incorporate into American society just fine but many are not. I think it was those that cannot assimilate that Lincoln was thinking of.

I don't know if that's the case. I know that we have, in effect, created our own Palestinian class through the welfare state and grievance studies in universities.

Those have both empowered segregation and isolation from the mainstream. IOW, people who have to turn off the alarm and get up for work have less time for mischief. Allow the slow march of the Left through the institutions, this is the result.

The real problem isn't skin color; it's culture.

Multi-culturalism is an abject failure. It simply does not work across the board.

My personal observations are that different cultures can get along but they can't be too different. There's a line there somewhere that's a bridge too far for most people.

Many blacks refused to assimilate into American culture, whatever that is, by staying on the path of some kind of Africanized hybrid culture that doesn't mix well with mainstream Americans. There are exceptions of course like in just about anything.

You know the type of blacks I'm talking about. They act entitled, uppity, and better than everyone else but of course they are not entitled nor better. They have the same opportunity to work hard and make something of themselves as anyone else but they want it handed to them for some past perceived sins by the white man. I say bullshit. If anything blacks owe whites reparations; not the other way around.

If anything, the Welfare State has allowed many blacks to un-assimilate. There's no need to interact with mainstream society. The checks come in the mail, rarely if ever necessary to leave the neighborhood.

Want to kick start assimilation? End the welfare state.

I feel like the Police, and the Trump Justice department are sitting on their asses in the dirt, whining about not having anyone giving them a hand up. Civil Rights violations are in clear view every day in major cities. Send in the FBI, DHS, and National Guard, arrest those who are breaking the civil rights of people nationwide. Lock them up like they did for Roger Stone....ZIPPERS on any news from them
