Joe Biden's spokesman called claims that the Democratic nominee used a teleprompter in a recent Q&A a 'distraction' by the Trump campaign.
The former vice president, 77, spoke with union members earlier this week and was filmed asking someone to 'move it up here' before answering a question.
Biden's national press secretary told Fox News last night that the suggestion was 'straight from the Trump campaign talking points.

Gee. I find in life that when the answer “no” would settle everything and it’s not said, there’s a reason.
The first debate is 18 days from now and the Dems have a candidate who can’t read off a teleprompter. What do they do? First, the so-called “press” has substituted itself for the Biden campaign, throwing daily shade on Trump (sometimes with his help, as with the idiotic cooperation with Woodward). Second, start stirring nonsense about the legitimacy of the debates. Third, come up with an excuse such as “Joe may have the coronavirus”. Fourth, which they will not do as it requires coordination and the days are ticking away, replace him on the ticket. Quite a quandary for the Demos.
That guy was was a disaster. The worst part was, looking at him, you could easily imagine that immediately after the interview he went out and joined his Antifa brothers at a riot.
Sometimes hiring a weasel as a spokesman backfires bigly. It is now clear to everybody who saw the exchange between Brier and this greasy snake that he confirmed, absolutely yes, slo joe uses a telepromter. Probably uses one when he asks for his afternoon pudding.
As I have said before, don’t underestimate Biden in the debate and don’t forget the media will give him a lot of cover in the debate. Plus, Trump is not a smooth politician. He is gaffe prone too. And of course, the format for the debate gives moderators who are pro Biden.
I must admit, I am not looking forward to the debates and I hope Trump does a lot of prep work.
Brett Baier scores two plus redemption points....
...but, still in my doghouse....
...”....the days are ticking away, replace him on the ticket. “
I don’t know how that will go over with the drooling, foaming at the mouth Harris/Biden/Bernie supporters....unless The Wicked Witch Shrillary Cinton is the one to replace Slow Joe....I can’t see that happening....but if the debate does take place on 9/29, I think Biden will be cooked...even if the questions asked by the fair, balanced, objecctive (yeah -lots of sarcasm there....) moderators are soft-ball ones...
At the debates, jam his earpiece with static.
I watched this interchange with Brett Baier. Brett had the punk on the ropes and continued to land solid blows. The spokesman’s smirk left and his eyes displayed panic.
Then the spokesman’s training kicked in and he aggressively changed the subject and wouldn’t shut up. He was however Had. Brett got him. All could see the blood and bruises
Freepers that are anti Fox bigots don’t like Brett but since they never watch anyway they missed a great interview performance
Let’s see.
“Go f___ yourself, America!”
Good points, all. Biden did perform OK in the Dem primary debates. Two things are different with the presidential debates: First, they were a good six months ago and he appears to have rapidly advancing dementia, where there can be a huge deterioration in a short period of time (over the longer term, look at his tapes from 2016 when he was VP - Biden was never sharp as he is not intelligent but he had a lot more clarity then). Second, he was one of seven so he had 1/7 of the time and lots of time to rest and regroup; he was also with people who basically agreed on almost everything. In the Trump debate, he will have half the time and he will have to be alert throughout for ninety minutes.
The word is that POTUS agreed to the interview with Woodward because his son-in-law, Jared Kushner, pressed him to do it.
I’ve said all along that I’m sure Kushner is a nice guy, and that he may have some place in the administration working on issues related to Israel, but it was not a good idea to bring him into the inner circle of daily advisors. Kushner is a liberal, and his counsel is not that helpful.
The debates will be “virtual” debates: Biden will be one place, maybe in Delaware, and POTUS will be somewhere else, maybe D.C. The moderator(s) will be somewhere else, maybe NYC.
All you will see will be the candidates standing at their respective podia, but in Pedo Joe’s case you will NOT see the teleprompter and his staff just off-camera, helping him answer the questions — which I guarantee will have been given to Biden a few days before the event so that his staff could write up the answers.
The media fix is in, big time.
I am bothered by the presence of these family members. Kushner has done some very good work in the Middle East but he needs to keep out of domestic matters as he and Ivanka are too inclined to press issues important to Wall Street and the media liberals.
I heard it on satellite radio and later saw it rebroadcast on tv. The Biden spokesman sounded even more pathetic on the radio.
What would be great is if the debate allowed each candidate to ask the other two or three off the cuff questions. You cant really have canned answers for that since you presumably would have no idea what would be asked ahead of time.
after the interview he had to lie down and take a nap. Anyone else notice an ambulance was part of the biden caravan??
I don’t watch Baier too much, but caught that exchange. The look on Baier’s face was priceless (Much like some of the hosts on “Outnumbered” get every time Jessica Tarlov or Marie Harf spout their nonsense lately) —to me it looked like he was struggling to keep his composure while interviewing that slimeball.

Yes, I agree. But there is no way in hell Biden’s handlers would allow that.
