A new COVID-19 mutation appears to be even more contagious, according to a study — and experts say it could be a response by the virus to defeat masks and other social-distancing efforts. Scientists in a paper published Wednesday identified a new strain of the virus, which accounted for 99.9 percent of cases during the second wave in the Houston, Texas, area, the washington Post reported.

Next, inexpensive, non-medical mask have never been effective at stopping the spread of the virus in my non-medical opinion. So has the “Orange Man Bad” media concocted a mask-resistant mutated SARS-CoV-2 to give desperate Democrats who arguably got satisfaction ordering people to wear masks a way to escape criticism?
Also, regarding a hand-washing resistant mutated virus, are people getting careless with respect to washing their hands? After all, I see people adjusting their probably soiled masks all the time.

Supporting PDJT with a new patriot Congress and state government leaders that will promise to fully support his already excellent work for MAGA and stopping SARS-CoV-2 will effectively give fast-working Trump a “third term” in office imo.

Viruses mutate/evolve whatever you choose to call it. It does this in order to survive. So the question is, what would trigger the virus to evolve in such a way? Do the people with this strain show the same fatality rates as the other strains? Or are more people surviving? A dead host is no good to a virus.
That’s one darn smart virus!
