The provinces, for whom President Trump is an instrument, not an end in himself, were never going to have an easy time winning the 2020 election against the amassed might of the Democratic Party, the “Fake News” media and allied pollsters, Big Tech, woke billionaires and the celebrity class, who united to stamp out the barbarian orange emperor.
The “chumps” and “ugly folk,” as Joe Biden calls them, came out in their glorious millions from the American heartland on Election Day and now we will see if people power prevails, if the nationalist populist movement enabled by Donald Trump, but not defined by him, lives to fight another day against the corrupt globalists represented by the sad husk of Biden.

It's stunning to me how many conservatives do not understand this fact. This is it, if Trump loses we can toss out our voter registration cards as they no longer serve a purpose.
Totalitarians by definition do not allow voting them out. There will be elections but they will be only for show. The outcome 100 percent fixed in favor of the state. If Trump loses this challenge it's OVER folks. There is no "we'll get um next time". Do you think the people of North Korea think one day they will vote the dictators out?

I like Miranda Devine’s columns, but I’m with you. The Dems regret nothing. They’ll take the W and have the full deep state power of the the justice department, military, FBI, IRS, CIA etc to punish their enemies and enrich their friends. As much as we’d like to think that President Kamala will be an unpopular one-termer (or half-of-a-termer), never underestimate the power of incumbency. The incumbent president usually wins. A lot of us assumed that Bill Clinton and Barry Obama would end up as unpopular one-termers. We all know how that turned out.
Recommend a course of action.
The Democrat Party, their staff and the mainstream media personnel have committed high treason against the people and the Constitution of the United States.
The participants in this very broad, highly organized effort to subvert and overthrow the government of the United States are subject to execution by the people of the United States.
Conservatives do understand all of this. It is the GOP establishment that either does not care or does not understand.
Reagan almost got 60% of the vote in 1984 in Delaware, over 68% in New Hampshire and 55% in Oregon and Hawaii. How much America has sunk over the decades.
Reagan shares some of that blame for his immigration policies.
Trump losing is bad for AOC. She doesn’t have a path to run for President in 2024 without mounting a primary challenge to an incumbent.
It’s good for any potential Republican candidate who isn’t Mike Pence, since he won’t have a springboard to run as a Trump third term. So Cruz, Rubio, etc. It also gives any Republican an incumbent with a record to run against.
The GOP Senate majority, if it holds, is a strong firewall against any of the radical Harris/Sanders/AOC+3 policies. Expanding the SCOTUS is off the table. Which secures one of Trump’s greatest legacies, three justices appointed in one term.
It’s unlikely a conservative justice will pass away or retire in the next few years. Stephen Breyer is a big possibility given he’s only 5 years younger than Ginsburg was, but at least that would only be replacing a liberal with a liberal.
Overall, the GOP itself performed slightly better than Trump in this election. So that potentially bodes well for mid-term pick-ups in 2022. Biden may be inclined to govern more as a moderate in order to avoid the mid-term shellacking that Clinton and Obama suffered.
The big uncertainty for the GOP is how to keep appealing to the people that Trump brought in. They were attracted to Trump as a person, his status as a political outsider and his “reform party”-style agenda. They need to find a way to stay on the side of those voters and keep their loyalty.
