Snowy conditions are not keeping thousands of National Guard troops from protecting the Capitol, and neither are unanswered questions about whether officials have detected plans for a possible repeat of right-wing extremist violence.
Some Guard members have grumbled to reporters that they do not know why they remain in Washington, away from their day jobs and families, even as some units are heading home.
“We currently have just over 7,000 soldiers and airmen assigned to the National Guard mission in Washington, D.C., and we remain on track to draw down to 5,000 through mid-March,” D.C. National Guard spokesman Capt. Tinashe Machona confirmed to the Washington Examiner on Monday.

I read an article today that more buses full on troops were arriving in WDC this morning. The question was were they replacements or additions?
Florida, NH, Texas, Montana sent their troops back home. Not sure about others.
Desantis ordered our NG troops back to FL on 1/22, with some choice words about the whole stupid charade.
right! It is mind blowing to think the military is actually in control of our nation, not the democrats.

You are pretty much on the money. And of course there is something going on behind the scenes. Any rational person should be able to look at what’s happening and put together what you have. We are watching kabuki theatre for reasons only Trump and the military know for sure. But Trump ordered the troops to DC and they are not being commanded by Joe Biden that’s for certain. I am just staying tuned.
They are on the federal register— but this means nothing. Like a library book checked back in. The question is— are any of them being obeyed? Clearly the TX judge decision on the 100 day moratorium on deportation has allowed the deportations to continue- in fact increased the speed of them.
Everything else is just an announcement on radio/tv. Big whup. If it has no enforcement it becomes like Andrew Jackson’s Nullification. In fact, exactly like that.
The Uniparty is like a thief who has just openly robbed a bank and is holding up in a hideout trying t keep away from justice.

Yes, the consolidating of the Senior Executive Service to do.. whatever the hell they want on anything they are told to do. Until they are no longer able as prevented by force majeure of a more powerful “agency”.
We need an inside look on the Provost Marshals activities— those needed to enforce the continued commands on these NG members. Besides their still getting paid— it is the force individual units who are “no longer playing” would have to reckon with (the threat to their families back home, their jobs... and their very lives). Force discipline that has to be applied this way... well it leads to fragging.

Excellent question. The Pentagon maybe? If it's them, maybe there's something to the idea of the military being in control of the USA currently.
Paying for their protection, the same way they do back home to the mafia== the demonrats anyway, it’s how they do, and pass the expense on to us. They think they are a corporation—wait a minute! They used to be, but aren’t anymore...hmmmm? Maybe?
