Crime is up dramatically in New York City. The New York Police Department is spread thin because of retirements, leaving the officer's union to say that the anti-cop sentiment among officials in city hall had left the "NPYD broken, almost beyond repair."
So naturally, what Mayor Bill de Blasio thinks the NYPD should be doing is knocking on people's doors if they're suspected of saying something hateful.
According to Fox News, de Blasio made the comments Thursday, one day after a gunman killed eight individuals in a series of killings at Atlanta-area massage spas. Six of the eight victims were Asian-American, leading to claims the shootings were part of a wider narrative of increasing violence toward Asian-Americans.

2. The cops who DID make such visits would disappear to never be heard from again.

Wouldn’t this be in violation of federal ‘color of law’ statutes? Weren’t these laws passed precisely to keep local law enforcement from acting as henchmen?

If they escalate the encounter to either detain or arrest you....
“I do not consent to any searches or seizures of my person or property”
“I want my lawyer and I choose to exercise my right to remain silent.” Repeat twice.
.....Then shut up and do not say another word.
De Blasio is a self-avowed communist. He is a comrade through and through.
Commies gotta do what commies gotta do.
The only thing he's ever done is to threaten the citizens of NYC with unconstitutional stuff like this, bad-mouth the police and hire his loser wife to made-up jobs where she doesn't accomplish anything except looting millions of taxpayer dollars for her husband and her.
The real question is, why do the people of NYC keep electing him?
This is hilarious. Every New Yorker I’ve ever known would spew acidic invective at anybody who so much as dared criticize them, let alone accuse them of saying anything hateful. New Yorkers sound hateful when they say “good morning.”

Why not arrest people for any suspicious thought...how about suspicion of not wearing your seat belt?
