It’s always about the money.
Can’t they have a commemoration event, without paying people? Those making demands for more money can simply just not be there, while a commemoration event takes place. Maybe I’m missing something.
They should get nothing now.
I’m curious to know if that included the Whites that were killed........
Stir that pot until it stinks again or more than it already does.
Extortion.
Good ol’ Kevin. Wonder what his cut is?
In it for the money.
Now we know why they are always wailing about being victims. So they can extract money from us and still blame us for their self-inflicted pathologies.
May 31 will mark 100 years since a white mob started looting, burning and murdering in Tulsa’s Greenwood neighborhood, then known as Black Wall Street, killing up to 300 people and displacing thousands more
From the contemporary record:
A checking up of the fatalities brings the number of white dead to ten and the number of Negro dead is placed at twenty-four.
Contemporary Report Regarding the Events in Tulsa May 31, 1921
“There is a class of colored people who make a business of keeping the troubles, the wrongs, and the hardships of the Negro race before the public. Having learned that they are able to make a living out of their troubles, they have grown into the settled habit of advertising their wrongs-partly because they want sympathy and partly because it pays. Some of these people do not want the Negro to lose his grievances, because they do not want to lose their jobs.”
Booker T. Washington
My ancestors were enslaved (I'm sure... sometime in the last two millennia). I am their descendant. Where's my compensation?
Regards,
Hard to believe that Tusley Town was originally a Creek Indian town in the Indian Territories.
I remember, way back in the early 1960s, an article in the Tulsa World of a doctor who had lived all his life in the town, from when it was two blocks long till the 1960s.
it’s all about money. They see this as another chance to extort money from whitey. Like so many of the other problems facing blacks, the Tulsa Riot was their own doing. They started it by sending a mob of armed blacks to the courthouse, and they also fired the first shots.
Survivors? I am only aware of one baby now over 100 who claims to be a survivor.
Took a glance at social media to see the leftist outrage.
Overwhelming majority of the comments were from white women saying how disappointed they were. And many not even from the area. Not a big surprise. White women were the ones going nuts over Floyd last year and pushing “anti-racist” booklists and other destructive nonsense. A trip to Oklahoma to show how anti-racist you are is in line with that.
Come on man! Don’t let a cash grab get in the way of a Marxist Revolution.
Get out there and break some windows, hassle Whitey and burn down that shop where your mom works, so she can stay home with you and cook and clean your room.
The summer of Biden is just getting started.
Just another hundred year old event, so old no one who was there is able to remember the context and what exactly happened and why, resurrected and propagandized for Commie to divide Americans.
So the REAL truth comes out, it’s just another grift.
Another shake down boogie no surprise the whole event from 22 has been politicized by libtards and should be ignored. Click turn it off.
How many 100 year olds - or older - are in Tulsa and have proof there were there? If LaQuinta Washington said he was there, but no proof, no payment. Of course, I doubt there is an 100 year old black named LaQuinta anything... 😀
So much today about the 1921 Tulsa Race Riots.
If it was that important why was it not memorialized back in 1931, 41, 51, 61, 71, 81, 91, 2001, 2011 instead of just now?
I first read about it back in 1970 from a book in the Tulsa County Library. Now it is always brought up kike scraping open an old scab.
