Pennsylvania Gov. Tom Wolf (D) on Wednesday vetoed an election integrity bill that would have implemented a number of election safeguards, such as voter ID, in the Keystone State.
Wolf rejected the measure, HB 1300, contending it advances forms of voter suppression.
“This bill is ultimately not about improving access to voting or election security but about restricting the freedom to vote,” Wolf asserted in a memo detailing his rejection.

They ought to put Little League officials in charge of voter registration. Unless things have changed since my kids played LL, to register them I had to have an original birth certificate and two pieces of mail (utility bill, credit card bill, etc.) addressed to home address. I always thought it was odd that it was easier to register to vote than to sign up for Little League.
ONLY DEMOCRAT CHEATERS and DEMOCRAT VOTE FRAUDSTERS don’t want their FELLOW DEMOCRAT CHEATERS to have to show ID!!
As long as those RCV enabled machines are in use in PA, even if every voter is a legal voter, Deep State can and will steal elections.

Wolf is correct with this statement. It does suppress illegal voting.
This is just posturing BS by the spineless Republicans knowing the governor would veto the bill. It just provides them an election issue, but they have no intentions of actually fixing anything.
No. Legislature doesn't have enough votes to override, and even if they did, it would immediately find it's way to the courts which are presided over by a very lopsided partisan dem majority. 2023 is the first opportunity to begin to repair the supreme court mess. It's not that the republicans shouldn't try, it's just a matter of measuring expectations.
