I’ve been trying to catch a case also to get the attendant natural immunity. In my case I have no comorbidities, am fully Moderna vaccinated and make sure to keep my D3 & zinc levels up so would be reasonably safe. I’ve failed in that attempt (as far as I know without antibody testing) and as new “cases” continue to dwindle away my failure will likely continue. The Delta variant is creeping around into all kinds of demographic nooks and crannies but can’t seem to find me.
That’s pretty gutsy but smart. Considering the coming total collapse of this country and whoever gets the China virus, they’ll be on their own. Immunity is going to be the only way to survive it.
“…THEREFORE if you voluntarily expose yourself to COVID in the hopes of acquiring natural immunity (in case you think of asking, this is a very bad idea), but if you do it, be warned that getting monoclonal antibody treatment when you get sick will prevent natural immunity from occurring”

I did not know that. Thanks for posting.
At one time I thought our body types were similar. I’m 74, think about the same age as he is. I’m surprised to see how much heavier he is now. I went carnivore three years ago, went from 235 to 179.
For the same reason there was Pox Party’s years ago.
Chickenpox when you’re very young is generally less severe than in adolescence or adulthood, and surviving the illness induces lifelong immunity. Only problem is some at a later date develop Shingles which are no fun at all. I got Chicken Pox when I was 6 and developed shingles when I was 10, most don’t have a shingle breakout until their later adult life.
Never had another breakout after.
Hope you find it useful.
True IRL story: When I was 7 there was measles in my classroom, and my dad, who was also a doc, had a public health nurse come and give me gamma globulin (no vaccine in those days). GG isn’t monoclonal but it did contain antimeasles antibodies.
So, I didn’t get sick. When vaccine became available, I was a teenager and it was only being given to girls.
So, when I was 28, I caught measles from a patient and I almost died.
Antibodies are great, they work really well, but they do postpone your encounter with whatever they are used to prevent.
will prevent (Complete) natural immunity from occurring.
He most likely had no co-morbidities, unlike Colin Powell.
Also be aware that the immune orchestra that is created after a vaccinated person gets natural infection is a subject just being studied right now.
Whether the protection after vax AND THEN INFECTION is the same as, worse, or even better than “natural immunity” is a work in progress.
Stay tuned.
Perhaps he was following his doctors orders?
“...be warned that getting monoclonal antibody treatment when you get sick will prevent natural immunity from occurring.”

How do you suppose you get over the covid virus then?
Your body recovers from the virus because it beats the virus. When you recover, if you have a normal healthy immune system, your body will remember and recognize the virus the next time you are exposed to it, probably with a diminishing curve over time.
All parents used to do this for measles, mumps, etc. I remember parents in my hometown doing such.
This makes perfect sense when there is no vaccine (real vaccine, not the fake vax being peddled now), symptoms are mild when a child (as opposed to dire if an adult man catches mumps), and you can time the illness so a to minimize the impact (e.g., not school time, not when relatives are visiting, etc.
Since catching the WuhanFlu ought to provide some immunity and the fake vax offers none at all, this makes sense.
AS to the tyrannical gov’mt continuing to require taking the fake vax, well, that has nothing whatsoever to do with disease control anyway.
TAKING THE VAX HAS NOTHING TO DO WITH PREVENTING SPREAD.
Yep, new cases are definitely continuing to dwindle, or at least that’s what the science and data reveal: As of October 17th total U.S. cases dropped like a boulder in the ocean to less than 17,000 cases, down from 192,000 on September 1st. That’s the data: https://covid.cdc.gov/covid-data-tracker/#trends_dailycases
I wonder how a moderate case treated with monoclonals would compare to a mild or asymptomatic case left untreated as far as the resulting immunity.
He is older and overweight. Not wise.
That is certainly the question of the hour. Everybody wonders that.
“Anyone who got COVID and recovered is lucky.“
99.7% lucky, which doesn’t sound all too lucky to me. Kinda like saying you’ve survived a ride on a roller coaster at an amusement park.
I had this VIRUS just prior to our BEING TOLD it was the end of our world and we are to panic and fear for our lives.
It was really annoying, but hardly the monster we are told.
I’ll never understand why Conservatives and rational thinking people eat up everything we are told by our known-liar media and leftist government.
The problem is, we all have seen more than a few of the “moderate cases” die horrible deaths, we don’t have good predictors of who is who, and so the desire to treat those “moderates” is very strong.
Mr. Prager said he has received Regeneron, a monoclonal antibody treatment, as well as Azithromycin and Ivermectin,
and has taken hydroxychloroquine and zinc for a year and a half.
Dangerous advice? A 73 year old, relying on his convictions and research, avoids hospitalization by NOT following the
Gov't/MSM hyperbolic propaganda.
How dare he! Burn him at the stake for witchcraft, since he did not follow the 'science' and survived.
No, Dennis lived life to its fullest during this entire scourge, and was taking prophylactics the whole time. His case was very mild, as he suspected it would be, as was his wife’s.
Dennis has been a true patriot and soldier during the past 1.5 years.
