Getting the chicken pox as a child does not guarantee lifelong immunity from the virus. Ask anyone who has suffered through acute, or even worse, chronic shingles later in life.

No meds except some vitamin C and Zinc.
And still i live.

I understand it is a miserable condition. I find it interesting, though, that the condition results from dormant virus from the original infection instead of being introduced from outside sources. These seem to be super survivors which can spring into action when the natural immune system wanes. I think the same principle applies in cancers which the body fights off successfully for decades until it is weakened somehow. Our bodies are full of harmful biologics which our immune system fights continuously.
I think for this reason many people are suspicious of the new vaccines which apparently hijack the immune system, temporarily or permanently. Is that hijacking opening the door to opportunistic illnesses previously fought off by the immune system?
I have a different take on Prager’s bragging about beating COVID. He never had COVID because there is no COVID. What he had was Influenza A. Influenza (a cold) can worsen into a viral like pneumonia if a person eats protein, starch and sugar early on that his infected liver can not handle.
Remember the proverb: feed a cold, starve a fever. If you do the reverse and feed the fever, it can morph into viral like pneumonia. However, if one only eats fat, takes electrolytes, allows the fever to burn off the influenza bug, they will recover without hospitalization in about 4 to 5 days. If they do not get tempted to run to the pharmacy for all kinds of cold medicines that do not let the body and fever get rid of the bug. Aspirin keeps the fever from doing its work. One feels better but that is only an illusion. If I break my arm and take whiskey it dulls the pain but does not allow the bone to heal. Same with cold medicines. Feed a cold, starve a fever.

Nothing to prove. Natural immunity is basic science and accepted with every other such epidemic, though for some reason not with this one. It’s also clearly superior to artificial immunity which may have no long-run efficacy whatsoever.
Bragging rights? You sound deathly afraid of the virus. Your kind are the ones who should get infected ASAP. The quicker the better - either natural immunity or death, which after all is a kind of immunity itself! Anything is better than they way you live in fear. It isn’t a life at all, the coward is better off dead, the sooner, the better.
