Republican Rep. Majorie Taylor Greene (Ga.) was finally granted access late Thursday night to enter the D.C. Department of Corrections to visit accused Jan. 6 rioters after months of trying.
Her office confirmed her visit in a statement, saying she had visited the "Patriot Wing" of the D.C. Jail on a three-hour tour and spoken directly with the accused Jan. 6 rioters.
Her office added that Greene was granted access only after "months of requesting access with letter after letter and call after call."

It is an outrage that people are being held under these conditions.
outrage they are held at all for minor charges.
I think there are still some that haven’t even been charged yet.
A clear violation of habeas corpus.

Both sides are exaggerating. Both have a narrative. The line is drawn where they are denied counsel. Is a congressman counsel? In the meantime illegals are detained and set free.

They need to go after who is involved with this.
Are they not allowed bail at all?
What happens to their jobs and their mortgages payments and bills?
When so far the majority of them have been given misdemeanor trespassing charges???
The legitimacy of the United States government is completely refuted with this travesty of justice. Where is the UN Council on Human Rights? Where is the Nobel Committee nominating the January 6th Protestors for the Nobel Peace Prize?
Greene, Gaetz, and Ghomert seem to be the only politicians who give a rip about the plight of these political prisoners. And Bannon’s War Room may be the only group broadcasting about this.
Whenever I am having bad day, I think about those people who have not even been charged, who are living in conditions worse than terrorists who have killed Americans.

This story sounds like something out of Cuba, Iran or NoKo. Why aren’t others speaking up about this? Where’s McConnell? Linda? Kevin McCarthy???
Has anybody noticed that the patriots being transferred out of the DC jail are being sent to a penitentiary? As in “a prison for people convicted of serious crimes.”
Isn’t that worse? They are being moved from a jail to a prison; a prison full of potentially violent criminals.
They are still stuck in that hell-hole of a prison...
The move will not include about 120 detainees, including about 40 defendants who face federal charges in the Jan. 6 riot at the U.S. Capitol, who are being held in the Corrections Department’s Central Treatment Facility (CTF), the Marshals Service said.

My staff and I are writing a full report this morning on our 3+ hour long tour.
I’ve never seen human suffering like I witnessed last night.
