Millions of people living in the Midwestern region of the U.S. received their first blizzard warnings of the season on Thursday, NBC News reported.
Parts of northeastern South Dakota and western Minnesota were issued blizzard warnings on Thursday. Both areas are part of “Blizzard Alley,” according to NBC News.
November blizzards are a rarity; the last time there was a blizzard warning in November was in 2016 in South Dakota, NBC News noted.

I moved in that storm. Fiance(at the time) and I got half our stuff into the new apartment and got snowed in for 3 days. No food. At least there was a restaurant in the parking lot. Luckily the bed was one of the first items moved.

Not really. I remember, in the Ozarks, snows on Thanksgiving day back in the late 1950s. The fall and winter of 1976-1977 was brutal cold on Thanksgiving day. 18 degrees and wind blowing. Bitter cold!
That January of 1977 the Continental US had constant cloud cover the entire month.
All this was used as proof we were entering THE COMING ICE AGE!
In the 1980s we had several brutal Nov cold snaps that froze pipes under the house and killed new bushes I had just bought and put out around the house.
Wind chill was -30 degrees.
The plant I worked at was not winterized and everything started freezing up. We had to fight for a week to keep it on line.
the folks in that area can just tune into the weather channel or Fox weather to hear how the planet is warming.
I Just finished tilling my garden, and Yard furniture stored. Let it snow!
Nope, un-possible. I’ve been told the erf has a feeva.
The local radio weather readers predicted a period of "second summer" which is when you have warm weather after the first freeze. Then I realized that one more reference to the Indians had been erased.
Brought to you by globull warming. Human caused.
WKBN Youngstown referred to it today as “Guardian Summer” LOL!
Does that have a PTO in the front to attach a snow blower to?
Indian Summer is now gone because of global climate change.
;-)
In ‘91 weren’t ‘they’ warning of Global cooling? The sheeple will believe whatever the masters tell them to believe.
It is my understanding that the term Indian Summer was a reference to the early settlers image of Indians as being untrustworthy.
Huh. Surprised no one’s noticed your post yet.
Nice.
I can’t wait for one of Joe’s “ Fireside Chats”:
“ Hello America, doesn’t my fireplace look warm and cozy? Don’t you wish you had one?”
Be nice if Chicago and Kenosha would get a doozey when the verdict comes down.
Sounds like the perfect moment to shut down a heating oil pipeline.
More gerbil worming...
No it doesn’t.
But the ability to plow is impressive.
No differentials so you have to slip all 4 wheels to bog down.
