By “existential enemies”, you mean the Democratic Party, and the traitorous Republicans who have tried to sell out the country?
I mean Russia, China, and Islam and anyone who doesn’t want to see them destroyed.
If you think that Joe Biden and the Dems, or people like Romney & Liz Cheney, or the complicit media, want to see them destroyed, you are mistaken.
Those people want to prop them up, and are propping them up while pretending to fight them.
Did I say otherwise?
It’s quite possible to loath the traitors and quislings of the Uniparty and also want to see Russia handed their ass in military and economic terms that would have made Patton or Joe McCarthy happy.
I will believe that *ANY* American politician is anything other than a POS traitor when they come out and INSIST that we buy not one damned drop of Russian oil and that we will take any and all means against any country or entity that does; any elected or appointed official that doesn’t support this has their lips wrapped around Putin’s manhood and deserves the rope. I have no love for the Uniparty, but one is either with Ukraine or the Russians.
And my contention is (and we may differ on this) that Ukraine is unfortunately the client and proxy of the Uniparty.
The Uniparty is a faction of the left, the same faction of which Justin Trudeau and Emmanuel Macron, et al are members.
They advocate a post-national progressive corporatism.
Putin is also of the left, but his is a neo-Stalinist nationalist leftism.
It’s wrong that Putin’s Russia invaded Ukraine, and I detest him, but what the US & Europe have become is almost as bad. Our version of leftism is just a slightly slower death.
I’m opposed to both of these left factions. I’m not rally behind anything, certainly not this President & the Uniparty’s intra-left war.
Thanks, that’s a little clearer and a more sensible view, even if I don’t agree with it (I’m a ‘politics stops at the water’s edge’ kind of guy generally but was as pissed off at our attack on Serbia as anyone) entirely.
I just am appalled by the support of Putin around here; he’s evil, anyone who doesn’t think he’s evil is no better than him. It’s quite possible to distrust the Biden/Pelosi/Neocon faction and also see the Ukrainians as the good guys and the Russians as the brutal thugs they’ve always been; if someone doesn’t, that’s their right, but it’s also my right to regard them as no better than those same thugs.
We need strongmen AND nationalism to solve our present crisis.
I mean Russia, China, and Islam and anyone who doesn’t want to see them destroyed.
We can't destroy any of those because we are weak thanks to Clinton, Bush, Obama, and Biden. Trump had the right idea. The globalists call it isolationism but the fact is when we are isolated we are stronger.
Thanks for posting the guy with the unpronounceable last name. He's been consistent for decades (as long as I have been reading Chronicles).
There is no Russaphobia.
People just understand the evil of Putin’s Russia.
If the Russian people were as brave as the Ukrainian people they wouldn’t see their young son’s sent back in bags and the Ruble would not be collapsing.
The world is united against Russia for good reason and for their actions.
Correct, which is why Obama sent blankets to Ukraine. There are bigger interests than stopping innocent lives from being lost. The people in charge don't actually care about that.
The only good strongman is one with a bullet through their brain.
Well, if you think a weak or liberal government is going to defeat the communist Revolution currently underway in the US - good luck with that.
