The green is flowing in New Jersey.

The Garden State raked in over $24 million dollars in recreational marijuana sales in the industry’s first month, according to the state Cannabis Regulatory Commission.

Since a dozen dispensaries in New Jersey first opened for operation on April 21, recreational marijuana sales averaged nearly $5 million per week for a total of $24,201,875.38 from 212,433 transactions, NJ.com first reported.

Jeff Brown, executive director for the CRC, said there is still room for substantial growth in the market as the commission approved an additional five dispensaries across the state.

“I’ve been getting stoned for 50 years,”

It’s not often someone totally throws the entire online credibility into the trash can like that. Everything you say, said, or will say is completely to be ignored by all.

It makes it so easy when idiots out themselves.

A million bucks is no big deal today.

In 1960 a million dollars was bit significant amount. Not today.

The only people that take other addicts/stoners seriously are other addicts/stoners. That’s just reality.

I’m not asking about others. I’m asking how do you know by all?

You’re on the moral relativism bandwagon too? Good to know. I love his ‘at least I don’t drive’ comment as if that makes anything better. I should get accolades too cause at least I didn’t shoot up a school today.

Same, been doing it 50 years, only do it at home (now), and do it everyday. It has some health benefits for older people, quelling inflammation for one thing. I’m way more coherent and sharper than those my age who don’t smoke it. As a matter of fact I’m smoking some now. Many on here just have the usual stereotype of a stoner zombie, they’d probably be surprised how many of us out there partake of it.

I was exhaling as I clicked your reply, lol. I'm currently enjoying the best strain I ever smoked.

The excited prohibitionist is just insecure, I guess. I considered replying that this board, given its demographics, was real likely to be home to many in my same shoes.

I'm more for the pleasure benefits. The wild medical claims have bugged me over the years (poor me) but there is no denying it can deliver relief in some areas.

Like you said anti inflammatory is one of them. I've dealt with pain my whole life.. some pretty bad. Pot doesn't make it go away but dulls the edge considerably and can distract from it.

I don't know what's with my brain.. I've been getting sharper and sharper for a few years now. Short and long term memories never better. And I feel that “wisdom” I'd often heard about growing up. Keeping my fingers crossed.

I liked your reply, thanks.

I smoke two joints in the morning,
I smoke two joints at night,
I smoke two joints in the afternoon, it makes me feel alright.
I smoke two joints in times of peace, and two in times of war,
I smoke two joints before I smoke two joints, and then I smoke two more.

My father he once told me son, you be a hard working man,
My mother she did tell me to do the best you can,
Then one day I met a man who came to me and said, hard work good, and hard work fine,
But first take care of head.

“it was not as easy to grow your own without worrying on being discovered”

Or having mischievous teenagers like me and my friends sneak into your backyard and steal your plants. lol

“I’ve been getting sharper and sharper for a few years now. Short and long term memories never better. “

Doesn’t the science strongly indicate the opposite effect?

Drunks think they perform better at driving. In my early twenties one of my best work league softball games was after going to the local bar after work and then playing a doubleheader. The team manager knew I had spent about an hour at the bar so benched me for the first half of game 1. I went 6 for 6. Why? The beers knocked off the normal tension. I always played better pool at bars after a few drinks for the same reason.

$24 million is “raked in”?
Since when?
Florida has a budget surplus of a massive $20 BILLION and New Jersey is crowing about $24 million from marijuana sales?

And instead of cutting expenses elsewhere, they will find a way to a spend more, usually be taking most of it for themselves to fund their lavis government benefits.

In Maryland the roads stink of marijuana. It’s infuriating.
