that's the thing people forget about when they talk about jury nullification. It works both ways.
I think it is considered a breach of ethics for a lawyer representing a losing defendant to be seen as cheerleading jurors into nullifying a criminal prosecution.
I can see it now when a jury summons is sent out the first question asked will be “What political party do you support?”
Lying to the FIB was the specific charge.
The DC Swamp is hopelessly corrupt and the Republicans need to decertify it as its own independent legal entity and fold it into Maryland the next time they are in the majority. The Founding Fathers never intended for it to rule over itself. They put it under the direct control of Congress for a reason.

Jury nullification is fine by me. Sometimes it’s just the right thing to do. However, those that participate need to be aware of the possible consequences of their actions. This time nothing will happen. If this kind of thing continues to happen for political purposes, then the blowback may be something that will cause them to regret their verdict.
Jury lets proven guilty walk away democrats doing what democrats do best proving law is for others.

This “little lie” resulted in a FISA warrant that invoked Chapter 7 “Umbrella” surveillance and ultimately caused the sitting President of the United States to be spied upon by the intelligence community he commands.
This is the very definition of sedition (and mutiny, BTW).

There might be ‘bigger things’ but the trial the jury was convened for dealt with questions like ‘did this man lie to the FBI’...
