In the way that the top Ukraine War CHEERLEADERS (Western media and US Congress) just a few years ago were explicitly calling out the Ukrainian Nazis...with Congress demanding that they not be given the weapons that we were sending Ukraine.
So, if you prefer to think that they are now ‘reformed Nazis’, that’s your prerogative, but as far as I’m concerned, people who are filled with hate and who mimic and idolize those who killed 6 million Jews, will ALWAYS be Nazis in my book.
So far, you cite as a source members of Congress and the Western media. You have yet to offer one iota of substance. I am not calling them “reformed Nazis.” I disagree that they are Nazis at all. It’s a cheap label. It was cheap in 2014. It is cheaper now.
It’s like saying M’bala M’bala is a Nazi because he mimics the Nazi salute in modified form. He, at least, happens to be anti-Semitic. Apparently, the “avowed Nazis” to whom you refer are OK with having a Jewish President.
Those “Ukrainian Nazis” to whom you refer have names, don’t they? They have a history that can be googled, don’t they? I would call the case you’re making “thin gruel,” except that it is gruel sans water and sans flour.
And I submit to you that Cather-Putin is attempting to mimic and idolize Catherine the great, who made Ukraine into a country of serfs, and Joseph Stalin, who deliberately starved about four million Ukrainians to death and continued Lenin’s destruction of the “Kulaks”.
I am a target of the real neo-Nazis, as is every Jew on the planet. And I acknowledge the role that Banderas and other Ukrainians played in that genocide. But in their defense I submit to you that they were reacting to their own genocidal victimization by the Communist regime. That doesn’t excuse them. But the actual perpetrators are all dead now, and the question is what about the living, breathing state of Ukraine.
That is not the modern Ukrainian nation state, however. They might even idolize Banderas, but they also have a Babi Yar memorial, and the University of Kiev also gave a doctorate in theology to the rabbi who taught me how to read Hebrew as a boy, and they also have a Jewish President under whose aegis they are fighting for their very survival.
Their desire to survive happens to coincide with the West’s desire to not endure a nuclear world war. With the West’s weapons and the Ukrainians’ will to fight, Pootie will hopefully get a bloody nose, a black eye and a scraped knee and go crying home to Mother Russia, and hopefully either leave the scene or at least stop picking on smaller kids, as he crawls towards death.
Or, if you want, we can have that world war, but you can inhale the fall-out feeling gratified that you have virtue signaled against phantom “avowed Nazis”.

You can discount the above but I don’t discount stuff that goes against their agenda. They flipped on the Ukrainian Nazis ONLY AFTER they became the prime way to attack Russia.

While you’re welcome to continue denying that Ukrainian Nazis exist and constitute a legitimate threat to Russians living there, but I’ll simply ask you to find me governments that immortalize Nazis to the extent Ukraine does, including the existence of avowed Nazis in positions of power. The Palestinians don’t even go that far.

And I’m sorry, but that’s a good attempt, but an attempt at pivoting. I want the names of the “avowed Nazis” presently in the Ukrainian government. Instead, you denounce the Democrats. Names, not deflection to the Democrats.

I’m sorry, but Chuck Schumer invaded Ukraine? High-ranking Democrats created economic and geopolitical conditions that incentivized Putin’s invasion of Ukraine, but it was Putin who invaded Ukraine, not Nancy Pelosi.
Ukraine itself is an Eastern European kleptocracy, much like Russia and Bialarussia. But it is aspiring to become something better, despite the Azovs, Oligarchs and all the other nasty goings on typical of an Eastern European kleptocracy.
I hope they make it, but that’s beside the point. Even if they’re wallowing in corruption and loving it, they’re being invaded by Russia as part of a larger scheme that definitely will lead to WW III. They should be supported by the West because the West promised to help protect their sovereignty in exchange for them giving up their nukes. Period.
As for the media, the Democrats, and the whole motly lot of leftards, they are not my guide. They can agree with me, disagree with me, or stand on their heads. Truth is truth, and even a stopped clock is right twice a day. So their narrative du jour is to support Ukraine, and eight years ago it was to refuse to support Ukraine. Both narratives are motivated by ulterior motives and falsehoods, but the latest one at least has support-Ukraine-it’s-being-invaded in it, so they coincide with my opinion, at least for now. Earlier, Brandon was trying to avoid supporting Ukraine. Now he is supporting. He’s still an idiot, but now at least he’s making himself useful.
He could have done that on February 23. We’re still waiting.
