Agreed……BUT as you pointed out, there are many reasons for playing coy. The one you missed is that they also want to build a war chest regardless of the office they seek. If DeSantis stated he was not running, some money would be diverted to other candidates who need it more. And it is possible that Trump does not run. No one has announced their candidacy to date.
The bigger point is if he runs against Trump it will be a fight on ‘who is more MAGA’ and devolve into personality flaws. This will cause great harm considering that is the only way Trump can be attacked. DeSantis is guaranteed the nomination 2028. Running in 2024 would be hostile. The elite, RINOS, Dems want this because THEY benefit….we don’t.

My studies of these things using the Obama 2008 Vote Fraud detector has shown me that the "blue wave" was more likely a DNC-Media concoction to cover the operations of their national vote fraud machine.

There is massive vote fraud in Florida, but fortunately the DeSantis administration has taken steps to keep it down to a dull roar [the ejections in Broward and Palm Beach].
