Catching Joe Biden’s gaffes, blunders, dementia, and lies can be amusing but, mostly, it’s extremely disturbing that the man at the head of the American government is a demented liar who gets worse every day. The first day of his trip to Israel was no exception.
But physical well-being is just one factor. Biden’s suggests that his body is aging badly but that doesn’t mean he’s mentally impaired. What suggests mental impairment is his inability to avoid gaffes. For example, there’s just no way to dress up referring to the “truth and honor of the Holocaust.” I assume Biden misread the phrase “true horror of the Holocaust” but, if his brain functioned, he’d never have made such a deeply offensive mistake:

Trump essentially told the Arab nations that Israel was a more useful ally than the fractious, violent Palestinians.
Thus, the Arab nations could do one-on-one trade and travel agreements with a functional nation rather than a terrorist state. Biden, instead of honoring Trump’s accomplishments and promising to build on them, outright lied because that’s what Biden does:

Biden truly doesn’t understand that the Mideast game he is trying to play is actually over and has been for several years.
All the countries he will be visiting are playing nice and ignoring that Biden is Biden while he is there. They all know and have decided probably among themselves, Arabs and Jews, that the real gaffe is the whole Biden trip.
Perhaps in describing the trip a bettr word is needed. That word is farce.

I have zero doubt that Blinkin and Dept of State will completely ruin the Abraham Accords. President Trump did an end round, which excluded nearly everyone at the Department of State to negotiate and implement the Abraham Accords. There isn’t a single decent State employee. DoS needs to be completely dismantled and rebuilt without rehiring a single current or former employee. There should be a ban on employment recruiting from the typical Ivy and Colonial League sources. Their world view is incompatible with America First.

I was extremely lucky to be working in an embassy when Trump fired all of the seventh floor DoS people. Every single person from the DoS in that embassy walked around like it was 9/11 all over. Maybe for them it was.
But they sure acted differently with the host nation for quite awhile afterwards. Afraid they would be let go also if they played the old game.
2016 election night at the embassy was real fun too. At least for me and mine.
