Comey, McCabe, Page and Strzok dropped from Trump's sprawling civil lawsuit

A federal judge on Friday dismissed five former FBI officials -- including former director James Comey and deputy director Andrew McCabe -- from a lawsuit that former President Donald Trump filed against them and other political opponents related to the Russia investigation.

Judge Donald Middlebrooks granted the Justice Department's request to substitute itself as defendants for the former FBI officials, after finding that Trump's lawsuit covered actions that they took while acting within the scope of their government employment.

This is a victory for the former FBI officials, who no longer have to battle Trump in the civil litigation, which many legal experts have panned as a meritless stunt filled with Trump's political grievances and self-serving conspiracy theories.

In addition to Comey and McCabe, the judge dismissed the lawsuit against former top FBI counterintelligence official Peter Strzok, former FBI lawyer Lisa Page and Kevin Clinesmith, a low-level FBI attorney who pleaded guilty to altering an official document that was used in the FBI's Trump-Russia probe. (McCabe is a CNN law enforcement analyst.)

Judge Donald Middlebrooks granted the Justice Department's request to substitute itself as defendants for the former FBI officials, after finding that Trump's lawsuit covered actions that they took while acting within the scope of their government employment.

So the corrupt justice department successfully moved the judge to determine that a no-name entity, managed by no individuals, can replace those who actually committed the crimes.

It’s now like attempting to sue clouds…

Our INjustice system is just sickening. Why can LEOs who commit a crime in the line of duty be held personally responsible but not federal employees?

Judge Donald Middlebrook “joined the court in 1997 after being nominated by President Bill Clinton. Prior to appointment, Middlebrooks was a private practice attorney in the state of Florida.”

With malice and contempt is so obvious with these fib gov employees whiches we conservatives pay. How can our employment of them be so blinded? Think, If the party roles were reversed? Even a rodeo clown was punished for just mimicking the clown prince.

More evidence of a two tiered legal system.

They all lied to congress and Stone and Bannon are prosecuted.

"Why can LEOs who commit a crime in the line of duty be held personally responsible but not federal employees?"

The Problem is, the Lawyers.. They have come to the conclusion that they own the courthouse, and thereby, the law is belongs to them. The rest of us are just so much fodder....

Dereliction of duty generally refers to a failure to conform to rules of one's job, which will vary by tasks involved. It is a failure or refusal to perform assigned duties in a satisfactory manner. Dereliction of duty on the part of an employee may be cause for disciplinary action, which will vary by employer. It may refer to a failure by an organization member to abide by the standing rules of its constitution or by-laws or perform the duties of the position appointed to.

If President Trump doesn’t take this to the Supreme Court, I’ll be shocked.

Unless there is some obscure law that says Judges appointed by Perverts cannot have their decisions appealed.

Some serious bullshit. This will encourage the fed thugs to keep abusing power and then knowing a judge will shield them when it comes time to be held accountable. Trump doesn’t need or want money from the government the guy didn’t even collect his paychecks for being President he wanted some justice.

Even though they acted under color of law, everything that they did with regard to Trump was far outside the scope of their authority. That makes this all the more despicable. This is an invitation to corruption.

Yes, of course there are!
But no pays any attention to them.

They used their governmental powers in corrupt ways. There is no way this should be considered within the scope of their kobs.

“... acting within the scope of their government employment...”

Yes, committing crimes at your employers office is perfectly OK for this ‘judge”. A big correction is coming in November and there is going to be payback. The royals during the French Revolution never saw it coming either. /spit
