What is PDJT’s position on India?
India has not earned the right to colonize us but that didn’t stop out genocidal establishment from welcoming them in.
India looking out for itself by getting what it can from the powers that be while giving up as little as possible.
India fought 4 wars with Pakistan. USA backed Pakistan in every one of those 4 wars. USA is still giving Pakistan Billions in foreign aid every year. I can’t blame India for being suspicious of USA.
Your choice is India or China. Choose wosely.
How can India be an ally when a large portion of their population is coming to America to seek refugee status and receive asylum?
In politics every country follows what I’d call “the lesser evil” policy. Alternatively, you could call it “the greater good” policy. Pakistan is a good example. It has done just about everything you could imagine that is bad for the US. It has disseminated nuclear technology and, possibly, nuclear bombs. But the US needed Pakistan’s okay to regularly fly materiel and troops into and out of Afghanistan. In exchange, Pakistan got fighter planes, equipment, training and unspecified other help, probably bribes. India, which has arguably been much more help against terrorists has often been denied similar equipment and assistance. That’s because every country is measured on different scales at different times and, also, those scales may be different for different “rewards” even at the same time and in the same country. That’s just the way it is.
Narendra Modi is MIGA! Make India Great Again. Can’t blame him. He is looking at what’s best for India and its people. Trump would do the same thing.
Hindu nationalism is the reality of Modi’s politics it means Christians and Muslims get second class treatment over in India.
Secretary of State Antony Blinken has made noise about this in the context of the State Department’s religious freedom-human rights reporting.
I accept Modi as he is just as I accept Erdogan of Turkey as he is very religious and nationalist-different religions of course.
Trump worked well with both leaders that’s for sure.
I tried to work a 1 bil dol deal with India on defense.
do no trust them
IMO, India is our China enemy of the future. They already are attacking our visa and immigration system with their leftist insurgents. Their nuclear-armed military, population to man their armies and sentiment against this country to further its own ends at the expense of other countries while not addressing the rampant poverty on their own doorstep are not a good sign..
1.4 billion of them. 10% of the world’s Muslims live there (140 M)..... India is not a friend to the United States.
opposition to India is Cold War thinking
India is rapidly growing and will eventually overtake China and the US in GDP
It is the world’s largest democracy (by far)
And, their English has been improving
The Indians refuse to kneel and kiss the DC globalist ring. The Indians have not even been responsive to our perversion proselytizing. The Indians look at the draconian economy killing sanctions the west can arbitrarily apply and wonder how closely must they toe the line to avoid a similar fate? The west insist that the Indians also commit a German style energy suicide. Of course, the Indians are going to refuse to accept this globalist western hegemony. The Chinese are now going to Russia for joint military exercises, India is a charter member of BRICS. This isn’t rocket science. Our actions and the legitimate reactions by the rest of the world have created a bi polar world. Unfortunately, we are on the green, woke, perverted, population diminishing, globalist totalitarian side.
The industrial shift for India from what has been its most very long term military equipment supplier for decades - back into the Soviet era, which is Russia, cannot be done quickly without imposing cost and supply constraints that are not in the best interest of the immediate military strength requirments of India.
The U.S. position vis-a-vis Taiwan is not likely to become, for India, an “ally” issue with the U.S., until and unless a Chinese invasion happens. Until then, India will not see the opening of a “second front” with China in its interest. One front with China, and dealing with that one, diplomatically and militarily is all India sees in its immediate concern. Any change will come by way of future events, but not at the moment just to improve the stated common theme of the Quad group for the the long run.
However, it might being acting more “neutral” with respect to Russia-Uraine and the west, than is in its longest term interest, if the Quad is truly in its long term interest. It could well maintain its military equipment supply lines with Russia, without KowTowing to Russia as much as it is diplomatically at this point.
Howver again, India’s ongoing poisition vis-a-vis Russia will likely make the two either no less closer, or even closer, in different ways, given either the best or the worts outcomes for Russia in Ukraine. Russia will continue to be India’s main military supply partner, likely no matter what, and that self-serving relationship will continue to color India’s other relationships with Russia for the forseeable future.
At some point, depending on events, the Quad may be reduced to a Tripod.
We must insist that India buy more of our rainbow flags.
India is an enemy, NOT OUR FRIEND. We should not be helping them beyond sending home ALL Indians currently in the US.
I respect India for looking out for its own national interests. I only wish we would do the same.
