Did you also teach that Christopher Columbus went against the narrative that the earth was flat? Because that is another myth, kindred to the myth that the Church opposed the theory of a heliocentric solar system.

While playing golf I saw a large naked-eye sunspot at sunset in the summer of 1991. I was reminded that Galileo had to recant his assertion that the sun had spots. His answer was “but it does.”
I have degrees in science from both MIT and Harvard.

I bought t-shirts for both universities while in the Navy, stationed in Boston. I always thought that MIT was cool. Tom Scholz got an MS in mechanical engineering from MIT and developed a very unique guitar sound.
Any suggestions as to how to follow through with the last sentence: "The trend must be reversed." ?
