CNN anchor Jake Tapper took a beating on social media for suggesting that no “national conversation” happened over the potential damage that school closures could have on children.
During a segment of CNN Tonight on Friday, Tapper confessed to feeling “surprised” by the fact nobody discussed the lockdown damage on children, even though conservatives were rightly doing that in the early days of the pandemic. Tapper also further called for a “bipartisan movement” to address the educational crisis.

Covering for the Communist Party as always.
ROFL
you mean the conversations that were stopped by tech at the behest of liberals?
The chilling of free speech in action
Tapper, you moron, no national conversation was had because everything is being censored.
Not the sharpest influencer in the Ministry of Truth.
“National conversation”?!?
Geez, I hate this new vernacular. I swear I’m gonna pop the next person that says that to me.
In 2020-21, when public schools in CA were closed, I attended ELEVEN events to protest: 7 reopen school rallies, 2 reopen sports rallies, and 2 signature gathering events to recall my school board. Not to mention many emails to my school board, County, etc. I pulled my teens from public school in summer of 2020 (one to private and one to homeschooling). Don’t tell me there was no “national conversation.” Many of us moms were screaming, daily, about it—and working to fight it. Alas the CA Teachers Union had the upper hand.
Liberals don’t want a conversation, they want to lecture you as to why you are racist.
The “National Conversation” was largely blocked on everything from Google to Nextdoor to Twitter to Facebook to LinkedIn.
Alas, he’s gone full retard
