Four Days Before Election Day, Biden Claims He Is Closing Coal Mines. Are You Listening Pennsylvania?

As if John Fetterman’s debate with Dr. Oz wasn’t enough of a campaign killer, Joe Biden announced today that he will be closing coal plants in favor of wind and solar power.

Joe Biden just said that he’s going to shut down coal plants all over America and replace them with wind and solar.

Retweet so every voter in Pennsylvania and Ohio will see this.

Let’s see how that goes over with Pennsylvania voters, especially considering that Fetterman claimed a while back he is against fracking, although he flip-flopped when asked about this in the debate.

What happens if Pennsylvania loses coal and fracking? The state will be financially gutted. More importantly for now, how will Pennsylvania voters respond to Gropey Joe’s threats to close coal plants?

Pennsylvania is the second-largest producer of gas and the third-largest producer of coal in the nation. There are roughly 18,000 people employed directly or indirectly in the coal business, people who may not want to be unemployed because of the Democrats’ war on coal, gas, and fossil fuels in general.

FACT-O-RAMA! Joe Biden killed the Keystone XL pipeline, costing thousands of jobs and 800,000 barrels of oil a day. Remember that on Election Day.

Ohio has a bevy of coal mines, too, most of which are located near the border Ohio shares with West Virginia and Pennsylvania. Like Pennsylvania, Ohio has a grueling Senate race going as well, in which GOP candidate JD Vance is slugging it out with the Democrats’ Tim Ryan.

He has to be the dumbest SOB on the planet. Although he probably doesn’t give a damn about a starving coal miner’s children and them starving. FJB

He would tell them to learn to code. Charming man isn't he?

Closing coal mines is a big problem. That one man can take it upon himself to do that is a bigger problem. If we make it through the next few years, maybe we can have a serious conversation about what to do about that.

Great move. The nice thing about working for a boss like this is that you can always tell him it was his idea and he’ll never be able to tell the difference.

His staff will walk this back, claim he was taken out of context, it’s the Republicans who want to close down the coal mines, etc., etc.

What gives the federal government the authority to close mines in a state? I’ve never read this in the Constitution.

Is Pennsylvania listening? Who the heck knows. During the 2020 presidential campaign Biden promised to end fracking. That would have been a disaster for Pennsylvania.

Pennsylvania went for Biden anyway. Or to be more specific, enough Pennsylvania idiots voted for Biden that Democrat cheating was able to push him over the top.

No. Then again we know that. My respect level for a person willing to go down in the mine ranks with our men who went ashore in Iow Jima and Normandy. I hope those folks and their families support the GOP and Independents. We need them and the energy they make a living delivering. Regards.

I expect the PA SOS to ignore (or do something else weird) the state supreme court’s ruling that undated mail in ballots cannot be counted (could end up with a count including the undated ballots and another count including them?).

The kleptocrat bastard seems to think he is KING. What the hell right does he have to determine the fuel mix for electric power generation in the USA?

This is beyond obscene.
