Conservative pundit Megyn Kelly says she was unimpressed with former President Trump’s speech announcing he’s running for president again in 2024.
“He kind of did disappoint a little last night, not to be too hard on him,” Kelly said Wednesday on her podcast. “I know he was trying to do presidential and he was trying to not screw anything up for Herschel Walker, but he did seem a little low energy. I was slightly bored.”
Kelly took it a step further, saying, “I’m not going to lie, I did fall asleep before the end of the hour.”
“Now, I’m getting old and my kids wake me up early, but I did doze off,” she said. “And that’s just unprecedented for a Trump rally.”
Trump’s announcement came just a week after the midterm elections and has sparked debate within Republican circles regarding the former president and if he is the best choice for the party’s nomination in 2024.

She should know The Hill gets a stiffie at anything sounding like criticism of Trump.
Megyn., still holding a grudge I see. Let it go, its not good for your soul or your health.

Who cares what this person thinks, or what causes her to do so? If I never heard of her, I’d be fine.
If Trump is bombastic, he’s condemned as a racist firebrand trying to stir up trouble. If Trump is restrained, he’s even more boring than Joe Biden.
Which Trump would you rather have Megyn?
...but this Trump hate is just weird.
That’s what I like about Kari Lake, at least regarding her public persona. She’s like a civilized Trump. That’s why I’d love to see a Trump/Lake ticket in 2024.

In contrast, Biden puts himself to sleep while he gives a speech. Actually his teleprompter puts him and everyone else to sleep.

Trump’s announcement was somber and serious because the message was serious.
I guess, she’s still an airhead with a 30 second attention span...

The point here is for her to get noticed. In the future she will say just the opposite.
The only thing Trump did not say was that we should make election day a federal holiday.
Good comments, especially the part about bashing other conservatives. The part of the speech she and the rest of the yahoos probably found boring was the part wherein he mentioned some of his accomplishments. Accomplishments done while under withering fire from the left, the media and the RINOs.
Today there is a story of some border patrol, probably coast guard, fired on by some drug and smugglers off PRico. Can you imagine that happening under a Trump administration? I cannot. That smuggler boat should have been left a hollowed out hulk. But under president depends, NADA will happen.
