The fatal flaw in our constitutional republic: The founding fathers did not design a system that could withstand what Democrats are now doing to it.

Are there any decent Democrats out there anymore? Are they sick and tired of what the fascist far left has been doing to this country? Have they become thoroughly disgusted by the lies, deception, cheating, and gaslighting promulgated by their side in a headlong pursuit of power?

The election two years ago highlighted the fatal flaw in our constitutional republic — a flaw that only has been made worse this time around. Our system isn't designed to withstand it if one side loses its moral underpinnings in favor of a lust for power and is willing to do anything to win.

Many tried to ignore the problem back then, but it didn't help that leftist liberty-deniers jeered about the issue as preparation for using the same tactics in the midterms.

Now it's happened once again, and the perpetrators have become even more polished in how they've manipulated the system they set up for a long past "emergency." We can no longer whistle past the graveyard of constitutional republics and pretend that we even have a two-party system.

There are those who argue that we should at least try to compete along the same lines as the illegitimate left, but whom are we kidding? Leftists have set up the system to their advantage: a drawn-out election season favors those willing to vote for a living. Activists who falsely think they are "saving the planet" or other such facile nonsense will always outcompete those who are actually useful to society.

Anti-liberty leftists love phrases like "a race to the bottom," so let's look at the end of the slippery slope.

If we give in to the insanity of mail-in voting (almost nonexistent everywhere else — go figure), they'll demand internet voting, making mail-in voting seem like Fort Knox by comparison, or they'll figure out something even worse (no, we're not going to give them any ideas).

Yes The Constitution presumes sanity and as John Adams asserted, morality. Democrats have neither.

They did. They gave us a Supreme Court with original jurisdiction in suits between the states or by a state against the federal government, but the SC thinks they have discretion in choosing not to hear the case. Then they gave us a 2nd amendment.

Democrats have neither.

The problem is that between our judges and our republicans they lack brains, heart and spine,

When morality is lost it all falls apart.

Not that I can see. The Democrats I know all approve of ballot harvesting and mail in ballots.

Some Americans are ignoring the Constitution?

Should God have devised a better system than the fatally flawed Ten Commandments since they are ignored?

Imho, the Second amendment will come into play when the majority of Americans are cold and hungry.

Could it happen? Probably not in my lifetime, but when it does it will make CWI look like a walk in the park on a warm spring day.

Founders didn’t foresee the power of computer technology in rigging elections.

We know the solution; paper ballots, in-person voting, voter ID, etc. ......

BUT .....

each state would need to vote those measures in AND MAYBE .....

Have their governor sign into law.

Think PA, etc. Easier said than done.

I’m thinking a force will be needed to ambush and trap election riggers. Not sure there’s anyway around it, but here’s a thought, .....

Nationwide federal injunction against machines, mail-in ballots, .....

But corrupt states will plead Article II plenary powers, so feds can’t grant injunction, .....

Except FRAUD vitiates everything. SCOTUS would have to way in, can Article II be used to protect FRAUD?

They let the steal stand in 20 because it got rid of the hated Trump. The cheating got baked in at that point. That was the end of our Republic

Well, they did give us the Second Amendment specifically to put down a tyrannical government. Are we there yet?

A Convention of States could remedy most of the problems we are having, I hope some folks will open their eyes and get behind the effort. It may be the only way to get the country back on track.

The system wasn’t designed for a lot of the crap that is being done with it.

One of the reasons why “Burn it all down and start over” is my prime political persuasion nowadays and the last 8 years or so.
