So, let me get this right. He climbed up on a bench with a shotgun, tied a cord around his neck, shot himself in the chest, flung the gun 30 feet away, kicked over the bench thus hanging himself as insurance the shotgun blast to the chest would not kill him in the first place and then died?
Sounds reasonable. The recoil from the shotgun must have done the flinging to 30 feet away.

Sounds a lot like Marcy Park. Friend of Vince Foster?
This is not new. I can remember another “suicide” in the Clinton past. Name was Vince Foster.

You must have mis-measured. I’m 6’ (6’2” in a younger life) and am about 36”. I have a Stoeger Coach (sweet gun) and no problem doing that deed. During WW2, Japanese soldiers were known to pull rifle trigger with toes and barrel in mouth.
Sounds a little like the guy who accidentally dropped barbells on his neck the day before testifying against Bill back in the day. At least that’s the story I remember.
Or rig up a rod or branch of some sort to do the deed.
So if he did shoot himself, about the only way would have been using his thumb on the trigger. The trigger guard would have at least left a gouge in his thumb or broken it. I’d like to see the forensic pics of his thumbs.
Let’s not forget the Arkansas State Trooper in charge of Clinton’s security detail who stopped at a stop sign outside of town and was shot 25 times at close range and his computer was missing and it was rumored he was writing a tell all book

Have you been to the scene? How do you know he wasn’t at the top of an incline which the shotgun may have just slid down?
So did he tied himself with the electric cord around his neck first, then pull the trigger, then threw the gun as it recoiled, thus pulling the noose tight?
It all just sounds a bit fishy.
Let’s just say what we think is really going on. Nobody, including the sheriff, wants to solve the mystery. If they do, they’re dead men walking. We all know it.
Oh, yeah. THAT shotgun. Just overlooked a minor detail.
The people responsible for this know they can do anything and get away with it. Their ridiculous stories are their way of saying, “in your face!”
“Investigators” found Vince Foster’s car keys in his pocket a couple days after searching his pockets.

Its amazing why 85 or more Clinton acquaintances died as suicides or accidental deaths during and after he was in power.
