Democrat state representatives switching parties and one special election over the last month gave Republicans three new supermajorities in state legislatures, bringing the total to 25 nationwide.
This week, North Carolina state Rep. Trisha Cotham announced her departure from the Democrat party and effectively changed her party affiliation to the Republican Party, ultimately giving the Republicans in the Tar Heel State a veto-proof supermajority in both the House and Senate.

“The party wants to villainize anyone who has free thought, free judgment, has solutions and wants to get to work to better our state,” Cotham said during a press conference announcing her decision to formally leave the Democrat party. “Not just sit in a meeting and have a workshop after a workshop, but really work with individuals to get things done.”
“If you don’t do exactly what the Democrats want you to do, they will try to bully you. They will try to cast you aside,” she added.

Oregon is still hopeless. My guess they will do nothing, because they are cowards. I finally got fed up Republicans and switched to the Constitution Party. At least they subscribe to the oath I took as a Navy officer.

The Country is in a state of collapse. The only ones that will be able to sustain a viable life will be those located in red states.
I know everyone is concerned about californians moving to red states, but if they’re hard core democrats, they aren’t going to wanting to settle in a state where they have no voting power
I kinda think most of the ones moving out are conservatives anyway and are fleeing to friendlier and cheaper places to live

More and more we have two Americas. It’s not as simple as it seems. Many blue states are not actually, they just have rat infested city’s. For example Look at Illinois, cook country picks the Governor and their 2 Senators.

That’s my idea, certain states and cities at this point can’t be saved, there should be a more formalized effort to convince every center right person in these blue areas to move to red states and reinforce those areas and allow them to completely fail and turn into to complete war zones

Since the Illinois constitution was rewritten, I think the the 60s or 70s, all the House and Senate seats are no longer like the US is set up, meaning all House and Senate seats surround Chicago, rather than properly represent the state, with equal representation of counties per Senate seat.
My sis and hubby bailed from CA, to Boise, but recently migrated to the Free State of Florida. They love it there and don’t seem to mind the heat and humidity in summer. Or bugging out for hurricanes they’ve ridden out 2 now with little inconvenience

Every one of these needs to push through voter ID restrictions why they can as well as redraw congressional boundaries while they can and set IRON CLAD rules in place limiting mail in balloting and ballot harvesting with severe penalties.
There is no reason forcing individual states to assign all their electoral votes to any particular party. There are two or three that apportion by district. If states with centralized blue demorat population centers and red everywhere else would switch to allocation by district, that would level the playing field a lot. It would also force candidates to campaign in all states not just swing states.
Yes, Exactly. Election law reform should be job #1 for all red supermajority states!!! This is the only way for us sane folks to start taking back our country. Just a start but at least it is something.

I believe our country is in the process of “self-sorting” before the collapse that every conservative knows is coming. The conservatives are moving to red conclaves so they will not be trapped behind enemy lines.
