Florida Rep. Greg Steube Endorses Trump over DeSantis: ‘He’s the Only Person’ Who Can Reverse this Disaster

Florida Rep. Greg Steube (R-FL) on Monday endorsed former President Donald Trump’s 2024 presidential bid, serving as yet another blow to Gov. Ron DeSantis’s potential bid as not one member of the Florida congressional delegation has publicly backed the governor over Trump.

“I’m happy and honored to endorse Donald J. Trump for president in 2024,” the Florida congressman told Newsmax’s Rob Schmitt.

“He’s the only person that can reverse on day one, all these disastrous policies of the Biden administration,” Steube continued, noting that many of the things that occurred under the Biden administration would have never happened under President Trump.

“We need to right all the wrongs that have happened under this administration, fix the things that happen in Afghanistan, support our military and our veterans, and do the things that the America First agenda stands for, and that is one person, Donald Trump,” Steube continued, noting that Trump is “widely supported in my district” and “widely supported in Florida.”

“I’m honored to add my endorsement to the long list of endorsements for President Trump,” he added.

Indeed, Steube joins a growing list of members of the Florida congressional delegation publicly backing Trump, despite the whispers of a potential 2024 bid for Gov. DeSantis. Rep. Byron Donalds (R-FL) publicly endorsed Trump this month, serving as a massive blow to the governor, who is friends with Donalds and his wife. Notably, DeSantis appointed Erika Donalds to the Florida Gulf Coast University board of trustees last year.

Even Trump cannot reverse the disaster that is the USA. Trump could not reverse it in his single term; if he gets back in, the Deep State will just roll him again with something of the same magnitude or worse than COVID/Fauci/Scarf Lady. Maybe global thermonuclear war.

Also, mark this: the Deep State will do ANYTHING to stop Trump from being re-elected, because that result would be a blow to their illusion of control.

Vote for Trump all y'all want, but he cannot single-handedly stop the collapse of the United States, or the rest of civilization, even if he is elected.

“not one member of the Florida congressional delegation has publicly backed the governor over Trump”

Why would they back someone who has said they’re not running?

It is patently clear to me that the Biden Administration is more concerned about hiding it’s corruptness and criminality whilst also supporting very wild sexual identity norms.

We have people at all levels of entrenched leftist government like Yellen, Buttigieg, the FBI, DOJ and countless others using their assumed powers to quash dissent and complaint, and the uber left in this country along with MSM are goose-stepping the mantra right along with it.

$32 trillion dollars in debt and no end in sight. It’s play money to them and never mind the trillion dollars a year it takes to just service the debt. No wonder the rest of the world is looking for a new anchor currency besides the US dollar.

It is very easy to support Trump.

What is troubling is that Steube says that Trump alone is the guy we should want.

Is there something about DeSantis the congressmen know that we don’t, but should?

DeSantis wrote a book and from what I read from it he seems very sound. I know from other reading that he knows how to fight for what is right.

Trump knows what is right too, but he left me with doubts about being able to drain the swamp, which he left thriving.

I love DeSantis and would love to see him as POTUS - even in 2024 I’d be happy if he or Trump took the WH.

But he has ZERO chance of taking the primary from Trump. ZERO.

All he has to gain is Trump turning him into Ted Cruz... which will happen.

That could very well be true. But I think the point of this endorsement, or any of our endorsements and the reason why we still all login here is to pick the best guy who may against long odds, stop the collapse.

If by thriving you mean back to the Bush-Clinton-Bush-Obama era, then you’d be correct..

That’s the era that birthed the R party timber of Bush, Dole, Bush, McCain, Romney..

That era hates Trump
That’s a lot of R Swamp that needs draining.
That era hates Deplorables too..

Trump isn’t alone. He’s got millions of voters who have no interest ever voting for Anti MAGA GOPers..

We face a lot of problems.

The single biggest one is the need to dismantle the entrenched administrative state, many of whom are hard core burrowed in Obama Administration hyper partisan Progressives who are fanatically dedicated to fundamentally changing America in a very bad way.

It's Change We Will All Regret by the time most Americans figure out the real agenda, but by then it will be far too late.

Trump is the only one who is even willing to try to make a dent in this problem. Even then, it's probably too late but what other choice does the country have.

And I'm well past fretting mean tweets or petty squabbles and other matters of “Not Presidential” style over substance.

Trump is the only one who can provide the leadership and clout to go head to head with the destroy America from within crowd who have taken over our government and who are now trying to take over the country.

“entrenched administrative state, many of whom are hard core burrowed in Obama Administration”

Thank the Republican Teddy Roosevelt for the civil service

The problems is that the “administrative state” likes to write and enforce expansive regulations (and does so with the unvoiced blessing of Congress).

Being swamp has been good business.

Fire one FBI and the next down the bench is ready to Swamp first..

A nice cleansing of the swamp is overdue..

And it isn’t going to come from the Swamp’s Just Us..

Maybe the military should take stolen elections, and an installation of a puppet President as the Commander in Chief, as more than just as business as usual..
