DeNiro is the perfect example of ‘Little Man Syndrome’.................

So did John Wayne - except at the end of his career. But people loved him in the movies. Most actors do the same, with the exception of a very few. The difference is that Wayne was, despite his many personal flaws (which we all have), a lover of his nation and its people - the very opposite of DeNiro. He also chose the roles he played carefully, wanting to portray “good guys.” DeNiro not only has the knack to play “bad guys” - though not always, e.g., A Bronx Tale - he chooses such roles. Why? Perhaps he, like the late Lowell Weicker (R), Connecticut, relishes being “the turd in the punchbowl.”
I know the photo you are referring to but in fairness, he was on a movie set and needed them to establish the proper height for the character he was playing. This is fairly common in the movie business and so I would never ridicule anybody for that, any more than an actor having to wear ridiculous looking clothing on the set in order to play a character.
That said, DeNiro is a horse's ass. In real life.

On a serious note, many excellent actors/actresses seem to trend toward schizophrenia as they get older. It must be due to working to present yourself as someone that you are not one too many times.

Why should anyone care what he thinks?
1) Why did De Niro have $30 million of his ‘investments’ confiscated by the US Treasury in 2017?
2) Why was he a frequent flyer to Jerry Epstein’s Lolita island?
3) Why did his wife of 20 years divorce him in 2018?
Hint, the answer has something to do with underage black girls from west Africa. De Niro is notorious for diving into the female African jungle. He is lucky that he wasn’t thrown in prison for rape and pedophilia.
