Doorbell footage captured the moment a supposed Dollar General worker plowed her car into a man who was allegedly fleeing after having stolen from her store.
The incident, which happened on May 11 at around 11.20am, shows the man on a bicycle cruising along a sidewalk in Fresno, California, when suddenly a woman driving a white Honda, said to be a Dollar General employee by the owner of the camera, swerved into the man and knocked him off his bike.

What a waste by the employee. Dollar stores sell nothing of real value, definitely not worth totalling your car to stop a thief from one.
I’m sure the employer will NOT reimburse for the car damage, nor will the insurer.

Not true.
With inflation, especially after Biden's inflation, what used to cost a dollar, now costs 10 dollars.
Dollar stores are misnamed. The nickle and dime stores of 50 years ago also disappeared and are now CVS and Wallgreens.

Dollar General does not sell expensive items like TVs or microwaves. At most, the thief probably took about $100 of stuff. That’s not worth wrecking your car.
And no insurance company is going to pay for deliberately crashing your car into a house.
Total stupidity on the part of the employee.

Dollar General will end up firing the manager and the manager may even face charges.
Hope that is worth the $20.00 in recovered merchandise.
