Yet whenever someone like Pat Buchanan observed that these justifications were about fighting for the interests of Israel, he was called an anti-Semite. As if those talking points didn't exist. Very Orwellian.
When Ron Paul opposed the war, without even mentioning Israel, he was still called an anti-Semite. Since he never mentioned Israel, the accusation was a telling admission on the part of his accusers.
And today, now that the Neocons have lost credibility, we're told the Neocons are anti-Israel (I've actually seen people post this), and that "America First" means ... support Israel.
