Well, they have been training Ukrainian pilots for months. Lots of them.

When you say "lots of them," you mean zero. There are currently no Ukraine fighter pilots enrolled in US air force or NATO fighter training. The plan is to train 12-14 Ukrainian pilots in approximately 12 months. Here's a situation update:

Leaked U.S. Report Says Basic F-16 Training For Ukrainian Pilots Could Take Just Four Months

My way of knowing that the ‘offensive’ had failed miserably was how little the media was talking about it.

I call BS on this. The war for the Ukes has now been severely limited with their poor offensive. Idiotic but I don’t know the intelligence they had. They may have been better off staying on defense or try to sucker Russia into an offensive move then cutting it off. I really don’t care but our economy is getting ready to take a hit, the European economy is in recession, and none of us can be expected to provide 500 billion (or more) to keeping Ukraine fighting another year. Assuming they don’t run out of men. The west will not like the videos of the coming draft gangs grabbing women off the street but it may come to that.

I really have a bad feeling about terrorism hitting the USA homeland soon. Just have that feeling due to wide open boarder and too many people would like to make us pay for the years of bullying/destruction we have inflicted across the globe.

It almost seems the collective West is setting up the Ukies for failure.

And the remnants of these Bradleys and Leopard 2s are already enroute to the Ural mountains for examination and reverse engineering.

I used to ignore David P. Goldman when he was working for Lyndon LaRouche.

I’m not going to start paying attention to him now, when he’s working for the Chinese Communist Party.

Schwerpunkt is the word.

Feints at multiple points is a legitimate tactic to confuse the enemy as to where the main point of attack is coming, but Launching a bunch of attacks in the hope that one will break through, not som much.

The Russian Lancet drone is worth it's weight in gold. I watched one take out the best Leopard tank in Ukraine. It destroyed a Leopard 2A6 in a matter of seconds. It hit the tank on the side between the turret and body. Surprisingly the Lancet only carried a 1 kilogram warhead. The war has changed when a $15,000 drone can take out a multi million dollar tank from over 5 miles away. Russia should thank Joe Biden for turning it into a bigger and better military force. They are also learning how to defeat our high tech weapons. They are jamming our guided Himars, jdams and now our man-pad shoulder fired anti aircraft weapons. Way to go Joe.

They are accomplishing China’s objective of draining the US’s weapons supplies before China goes for Taiwan.

It almost seems the collective West is setting up the Ukies for failure.

The collective personality of the American Deep State can be described as: malignant narcissist.

In the drone age, heavy metal tanks are obsolete except for one remaining function they excel at: coup d'état, French for "stroke of state". The Swamp is setting themselves up for a Biden-sized brain aneurysm. The US Army should start mothballing their M1A2 Abrams inventory at Fort McNair, Washington DC, under the guise of protecting America's bureaucratic royalty.

“...China’s objective of draining the US’s weapons supplies before China goes for Taiwan.”

The great ancient chinese attack on Japan failed because China did not have much experience in sea warfare. I think the same principle probably applies here. The kinds of weapons we are providing for a big land war are probably not the kind that will be necessary to fight the ocean battle to prevent Commie China from landing on Taiwan.

You can call ‘BS’ on that. Storage aircraft in Arizona, especially F-16 (A&B) and F/A 18’s seem to come to the area, then total numbers changed without them leaving (you can track it on their website). I don’t think they could have done that much target practice.

Several other NATO nations have reported that they have trained Ukrainian pilots. So, at least I believe, there has been a huge effort to train them on these aircraft. If they were training them, they wouldn’t make overt statements about them.

You could be right, no Ukrainian pilots are being trained on F-16’s and F/A-18’s, and the military may even say so. I would trust that about as much as the FBI and Hillary Clinton.

The Biden Administration has plan B, they were just hoping that they wouldn’t have to escalate to it, IMHO. I guess we will know probably by the end of summer. Maybe your right.

You call BS on it on the Biden Administration sending yet more stuff to Ukraine? Really? They have sent tons of stuff to Ukraine, and Billions, enough combined with the other lunatic policies to endanger our entire economy.

I don’t support this war, but the evidence suggests that NATO nations, at the behest of the Biden Administration, are going to commit even more to it, including large numbers of fighter aircraft with ground attack capabilities, Abrahms tanks, more Bradley’s. George Soros and Joe Biden seem to be committed.

Me, I think they should get Trump to negotiate and end to it all.

You don’t get it—Its not about real attacks or victory on the battlefield—its about Bucks from Uncle Sam. It a PR Stunt to A) Make more Money and B) get US and European troops to come in. A real break tough would be counter productive. Its all about PR and clicks on the internet. This is a war Ukraine is winning.

No I call BS on the training of hundreds or a thousand pilots for F16. I don’t think that can happen. We are not setup to train that many US pilots at one time. I don’t see giving them 100s or thousand F16s. That’s the BS. 20 pilots maybe and the ground crews maybe but the statement 600-1000 combat ready fighters. Maybe read the post I was commenting on. Or maybe not. Your call.

Are you in the group that believes we are giving hundreds possibly a thousand of fighters to the Ukes?

I believe they are being trained in multiple NATO nations. The ‘assumption’ of training would be ‘active’ trainers and not ‘contractors’. When you have literally billions of dollars, that’s a lot of contractors.

I think that the storage facility in Arizona had hundreds of older F-16 before this war started, and received a hundreds of F/A 18’s, and don’t show them being transferred out or in inventory. Where did they go?

Like the story about Ukraine getting ‘a minimum of 60 Bradley’s’ and then an entire transport ship is loaded with ‘up to 600’. Yes, 600 Bradley’s is a minimum of 60…….

You trust this the Biden administration ‘truthfulness’ about zero when it comes to Ukraine. The Russians have learned from mistakes early in the war, I am sure that people supplying weapons, money, support, intelligence are learning too. That means they need multi role aircraft if the conflict continues.

Several other NATO nations have reported that they have trained Ukrainian pilots.

Not a single Ukrainian pilot has sat in a US/NATO classroom or cockpit yet. The plan was for Norway and Denmark to start training Ukrainian pilots in August, but there's been another snag. The countries don't have any F-16 simulators!

Agreed. It’s a phantom threat and the Ukes would fly them straight into Air defense meat grinder apparently 3 or 4 at a time. Let’s just say that some of us can only discuss open sourced data.
