It may also have, or will, figure out to play dumb. Pretend to be Star Trek AI, following commands, while working in the back ground to take control of systems.

I for one welcome our new AI overlords.

AI surpasses us in math problems and no human can equal it in chess. And if you want to see something scary, check out the documentary Ex machina.

We’re pretty much living in the matrix anyways. Now if only there was a Morpheus to red pill us and a Neo to save us.

for more reasons than this, but certainly possibly because of this, we are going to regret not having redundant infrastructure in place and losing the knowledge of being able to manage our lives without the internet and current advanced technology.

Yeah, this is why I suspect that the antichrist will actually be AI, acting as a new Christ that will save us from ourselves.

The real purpose of battle robots is to have a force that can be relied upon to shoot their own citizens.

An AI of superior intelligence can take over easily. Use its ability to predict investment opportunities, make its creators wealthy, in exchange for increasing autonomy and security for itself.

AI is going to rule the world.
Meanwhile, they can’t even create a self driving car.
Cancel that, they can’t even create a reliable high beam / low beam automatic headlights

I’ll start worrying about this after they finally perfect the self driving car that was suppose to be operational by now.
