They are losing talent because they have gone Woke, pushing troops to transition, they are firing all the conservative white officers and sergeants and because of this enlistment has dropped WAY off.

This is why they are losing talent.

Keep it up! There are already too many woke idiots in the military leadership. Why would any straight competent person even think about enlisting.

Since the civil war (Union side) my family have been a prt of the military. No more!

None of the military age family members want to join. They all know that they are and will continue to be called and treated like racists because they are white, and there is no future for advancement because they are white males.

Why enlist, they are treated like this everyday already!

“Last month, Army Chief of Staff Gen. James McConville testified before Congress that only 23% of Americans ages 17-24 are qualified to serve without a waiver to join, down from 29% in recent years.”

“The U.S. military is not requiring that CRT be taught and there is little evidence that it’s being discussed much at all in the ranks. According to Military Times, the one instance in which it is being used in an educational setting is at the U.S Military Academy at West Point.”

Quotes:

The GOP senator’s hold forces the Democrat-controlled Senate to consider and vote on each nomination rather than approving them in batches, dragging out the process.

Tuberville...has said he will continue to stymie the nominations until the Defense Department rescinds the new policy...arguing the new Pentagon policy circumvented congressional authority by forcing the government to pay for abortions.

“This is about not forcing the taxpayers of this country to fund abortion. That’s been a bipartisan consensus for more than 40 years,” Tuberville said.

Too bad so sad. All that means is that general brown values flying women for out of state abortions more than he does readiness. Clown…

From Wikipedia:

On March 2, 2020, the White House announced that President Donald Trump would nominate Brown to become the next Chief of Staff of the United States Air Force, succeeding General David L. Goldfein. On June 9, 2020, Brown was unanimously confirmed (98–0) by the United States Senate to succeed Goldfein as Chief of Staff of the US Air Force. With this confirmation he became the first African American to lead a branch of the United States Armed Forces. As Air Force Chief of Staff, he advises the President, Secretary of Defense, and National Security Council regarding Air Force matters, and is the most senior uniformed Air Force officer responsible for organizing, training and equipping all of the active-duty Air Force officers, Air National Guard and Air Force Reserve.

Brown was formally announced as President Joe Biden’s nominee to succeed General Mark Milley as the 21st chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff on May 25, 2023. If confirmed, Brown’s tenure would begin on October 1, 2023.

Brown entered the Air Force in 1984. A fighter pilot, he has logged over 3,000 flight hours, including 130 hours in combat.

The whole article never mentions to reason why Tuberville has placed the hold. All of the wailing and scaremongering from the generals means nothing. They are doing nothing but saying that abortion is more important to them than readiness.

You wouldn’t know from the article. The Pentagon announced it was going to allow women in the service to fly to other states on the government dime to obtain abortions. Tubberville placed a hold on all those promotions until they resend that policy. And, comically, the coach is way more stubborn than they are.

Brown also underscored concerns with retention, stating that younger officers may not want to pursue military service if politics jeopardizes their career advancement.

How long has Charlie Brown been in the military?

Every officer action is political. Every. Single. One.

Parkinson’s Law: the observation that the duration of public administration, bureaucracy and officialdom expands to fill its allotted time span, regardless of the amount of work to be done. This was attributed mainly to two factors: that officials want subordinates, not rivals, and that officials make work for each other.

This leads to expansion of 'Leadership' positions.

Speaking of the US Armed Forces, I read where amendments are submitted and awaiting consideration for the defense budget bill that prevent marijuana testing for incoming recruits. This is to expand the pool of potential applicants and help alleviate the recruiting crisis. I don’t believe it is a sea change of allowing open marijuana use by serving personnel but I’m not sure on this. I don’t really think it will help unless they also allow open marijuana use by all serving personnel, no more temp waivers and retesting. Perhaps we really really need to rethink whether we want to prohibit marijuana use at the Federal level and by serving active personnel or we may never get the numbers we need again. Thoughts?

Dammit! Tuberville needs to understand that the military is in dire need of talent for their drag shows and trans-beauty contests.

You got that right!. We need more dick dangling drag queens in our military to put on their shows. To edumcate the normie/heterosexual troops about the glories of gay and trans.

Then half these drag queens have enhanced, female like breasts, due to taking estrogen pills by the handfuls. While still having their dick intact.

Having all these seats vacant won’t make a bit of difference. The planned occupants will all be counterproductive.

“...and then about balancing family and professional considerations...”

That concept only works in civilian life.
