A rising Republican star tipped by many to be Donald Trump's running mate should he win the presidential nomination has been involved in a clandestine affair for years, multiple sources tell DailyMail.com.
Married South Dakota governor Kristi Noem, 51 – who stresses her belief in 'family values' – and Trump advisor Corey Lewandowski, who is also married, began carrying on in 2019, if not before.
Now news of the relationship threatens to wreck Noem's chances of joining Trump's ticket in a potential rematch with President Joe Biden.
Neither denied the affair when asked by DailyMail.com. The Governor issued a statement attacking us for the timing of the article, while Lewandowski did not respond to a request for comment.
‘He may not be very smart, but it takes big balls to lobby to have your mistress named one of the most powerful people in the country,' one GOP operative told DailyMail.com.
The far-right website American Greatness claimed in 2021 the two had been romantically involved, although it gave no details.

If the story isn’t true, Noem and Lewandowski should sue. Under England’s strict libel laws it should be easy to prevail (and win attorneys’ fees!)...
Turns out the National Enquirer was right about John Edwards, when nobody else would cover the story.
This rumor was reported about two years ago.
I read about it just that one time, so I assumed it was unproven gossip.
If true, she is done for the 2024 cycle.
Maybe done for every future cycle?
Daily Mail is not in the US. They're in England, where it is super easy to sue someone for libel. If the story isn't 100% true, they'd be crazy to run it - Noem would wind up owning the paper.
He was responding to a pro-adultery comment asking if we are supposed to be pro-adultery now. “Why don’t you start with being pro-Truth.” - how is that a response to his post?
Hope would iron Trump’s suits on his plane.
I believe the Daily Mail also has a USA issue, which avoids the ultra-strict libel laws in the UK.
She’s apparently denied the affair this afternoon. My problem with her goes back before this salacious stuff, anyway. Too flaky and unreliable. Now, if President Trump wants to make her Ambassador to Zimbabwe, I won’t object.

Edwards, that dude was so oily and skeezy. I see that Sen. Lauch Faircloth, the excellent Conservative GOP Senator that Edwards upset in 1998 died yesterday. He was a real man. Almost have none of those left in office.
If Noem had been in the middle of the line:

What I was trying to say, saying is Kristi Noem is having an affair is dubious considering the source.
It could be true, but likely isn’t because of their history.

Oh, so now it is "conservative" to not only support communism and totalitarian regimes across the globe, but also to be supportive of adultery.
